Winter has come

I've been waiting for it. And frankly, I am very happy that it has come. It's blizzarding. The wind speed is 25 meters per second. The snow is flying straight in the face - it hurts. The glasses are freezing over immediately. You have to walk sideways, struggling to stay on your feet. They say you should have a coin in your pocket to stay on your feet. The sea is rough! There is snow everywhere...

Well, this is off-topic, but I just realized something. With the circumference of the longitudinal lines decreasing as you come near the earth's poles, you have a unique opportunity at hand. By standing at the pole itself, and running around in circles, you could cross the international date line many times during a short period. If you do this quickly and enough times, I believe you would travel through time.
Be careful not to do this on a windy day though as you may lose your direction.
Excellent idea! But it is a pity, that from our island to a pole - almost 3000 kilometres :)
I've blown over in the wind, too, although not in conditions anywhere near that severe. Maybe you should strap weights to your ankles! That's awesome that you have a church there.
I don’t know how you do it, where I live summer temperature is 22 to 29 C
And winter gets down to a really cold 15 to 20 C and we might have 5 days in the year where the early morning temp gets down to 5 for a few hours.
I look at Russia and think, I could never survive.
I’m unhappy when I have to put my shirt on at night.
I see some Siberian area’s get down to –30C, I cant even imagine that, if you stop the car get out and have a leak, you’ll probably get stuck to the tree ;)
Russia fascinates me, but the cold worries me.
Here if people want to see the country they can do it with tents, or a camper vehicle, I suppose that is just out of the question in Russia, how do people tour Russia?
Well, if people travel in the summer, they can always count on the tents. In the winter for travellers there are hotels in each city. Nothing difficult :)
