The Real American 22 October, 2009, 02:11 I've seen The Alyona Show several times now and I still can't decide what makes it so attractive; Is it her voice made for broadcasting. Perhaps it's the fact that she's not afraid to air her opinion? Maybe it's the subjects that no one else will touch. I've been watching the news and Sunday political shows from all the sources available to me since 1965, and very few have spoken the naked truth so eloquently. In future I will work hard to pay attention to her if she continues to work hard to command it Great Show!

R John 26 October, 2009, 10:17 Hi Alyona the segment highlighting the ignorance of many Americans in regards to different cultures just confirms my own beliefs, really scary that even seemingly educated people cannot differentiate between Sikhs and muslims. The bulk of Americans are very inward looking and dismissive of others, This holier than thou attitude has given successive governments a licence to ride rough shod over the rest of us, including my own nation the UK, ours is a very one sided relationship we give they take, even to the point that a UK citizen can be plucked off the street at the request of the US authorities, I believe it’s time we shed the US yoke and fully join our European brothers. And develop our own independent foreign and domestic policies free of US interference based on our own principles which in the main are more humanitarian. Aloyna your show is smart, sharp and witty keep up the good work.

sj 1 November, 2009, 07:48 Alyona, Greg Durbauree said I like the way you stick up for president obama. THAT'S THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR SHOW! Its bigoted and one sided, you pick guest who parrot what you like and "your" politics.. Its "not" professional to wear clothes so tight that your strangling yourself and short enough to almost cover your personal body parts. You don't have to do that "unless' you have "nothing else to offer," and, after watching your show several times its clear its not based on any facts just your political, views hence, the "closes strangler in high heels" appears on a high chair crossing its legs. Your eye candy for the boys but that does not make you an intelligent, well prepared talk show host.. Try poll dancing.... .

Grover 7 November, 2009, 02:52 I watch Aloyona Show - because I find it interesting - both the subject as well as the way it is presented. The bottom line is that it is captivating and entertaining. Lets not find fault with the Presenter - her looks - her attire etc - thats important too as it is a TV show and not a Radio show and its not wrong to look attractive. Before you critisise - think whether you can stand there and speak without a stammer or a mmmm sound. Surely Aloyona is the Show for Me. Well done Aloyona.

Lee Davis 12 November, 2009, 17:34 Why NATO cannot fix Afghanistan. This war like the other War that began, during George W Bush Presidency, was designed by large corporations to provide Maximum profits. This war has already cost many times, what it should have Cost. Everything we do in Iraq, and Afghanistan is managed by NATO/ The Pentagon. I am mainly concerned with the fact NATO/ The Pentagon is overseeing Humanitarian projects. The Idea our Military is overseeing, Construction projects to rebuild a war torn country. All of this is take play while NATO. Pentagon is at war in this country. Wouldn’t it be profitable for the Pentagon, if the Destruction caused by this war to continue forever? We must understand, the US Government has been Privatized. We the people must reverse the process of Privatization in the US government. Congress can change the process, or the procedure by which they write a law. Congress alone is responsible, for the Laws they write. Congress can refuse to allow corporate lobbyists to take part in the process of making a Law. What about the character of the Candidates, political parties choose to run for office? The way parties choose Candidates may be reason Representatives don’t remain in Office. Everything must be done for personal Gain. I don’t believe the problems, of how you rebuild a Nation can be solved by NATO, or the US Pentagon. The UN should be handling the Process Rebuilding War Torn Afghanistan, after NATO leaves the Country. The question then becomes, how does UN finance The rebuilding of Afghanistan? The UN should be allowed to use The Tobin Tax, which is a Tax Stock Transactions, at the rate of 1%. To finance UN development Projects.

M&M 13 November, 2009, 21:14 I agree with sj. Her skirt is so tight and short that it's disturbing, the show looks like a mixture of "Basic instinct" and Britney Spears coming to town. Her ditsy, narcissistic and unprofessional attempts to prove that she's just like the "progressive West" (unlike those "backward" Russians) is pitiful and anti-intellectual. Her show is an embarrassment for the channel. We watch RT regularly, it's a great source for hard news. We love the shows and interesting, thought-provoking documentaries as well but now every time "the Alyona show" is on WE CHANGE THE CHANNEL. Because of her show we stopped recommending RT channel to our friends in NYC. PLEASE, TAKE IT OFF THE AIR! Thank you.

Arturo 14 November, 2009, 22:18 I liked your show for the way things are presented. Nevertheless, in today's show, your mention to the Catholic church I believe was far too offensive and distasteful. To use the stereotype of priests abusing children as a characteristic of what the Church does, it would the be the same as using that one that all Russian girls living abroad are prostitutes, isnt?? Would you feel comfortable with that assumption?

Richard 14 November, 2009, 22:55 I just found discovered RT and began to start enjoying it because I was tired of partisan news on regular US cable TV, only to discover your show. It is worse than MSNBC. It is so bad, you interview people sitting in their basements and they seem to have all the facts. This is just leftist fiction. Try and be more objective please and don't chase me away from RT

Tasais 17 November, 2009, 22:50 Hello, I just listened to your debate on gay marriage. First off an opposing view would be nice. Second if religion is dying so rapidly, why is marriage which is between a man and a women. Not between a man and man or women and a women so important? Civil unions would be just fine right? I am young, I am not a believer, but I cannot agree to break the rules of nature (those who cannot reproduce will dwindle over time) Gay's are a dying breed by nature's standard. Will you please open up to the fact that it is all politically driven. Religion, Gay marriage, as well as your point of views. You make liberal's proud. This is one issue Iran has got right.

Saadi 21 November, 2009, 20:37 Hi I really liked your show today but I can find no information about you and how the show came about. You can generally tell who is who on Aljazeera or CNN but RT is a bit weird, a bit like Iran's Press TV. Still, a very interesting production, keep it up!

Alan 1 December, 2009, 04:31 Love your show! I love the way you speak in an enthusiastic, realistic tone that catches my attention and not with that annoying newscaster affect that so many people in the news do, from CNN to Fox to local news, to try to sound official and important. You conversational tone and interesting topics are all that's needed to keep my attention. Love your cute outfits too :-)

paul kindlon 5 December, 2009, 11:48 I am an American ex-pat living in Russia and I just got turned on to the Alyona Show. It is truly a wonderful program with intertesting guests (instead of the usual re-treads and insiders we get on CNN). Alyona is smart, clever, and vivacious. She is also smoking HOT! The only show that even compares with it is the Max Keiser program.

Harold Bell 23 December, 2009, 00:04 I truly enjoy the "Alyona Show" and her unique and insightful take or view on various issues affecting the global community. I have read the profiles in relation to the "hosts" and reporters for RT and I am very impressed, to say the least. Most, if not all, on-air personalities are bilingual or multilingual. After reading the profiles I had an inferiority complex for a while and deservedly so. At the very least, I should improve my French speaking ability since Canada is officially bilingual. Yes, Bill O'Reilly does deserve the "Tool" award for his shallow knowledge base in relation to world events and his odd desire to wear/show his ignorance of world events as a badge of honour. Is it any wonder he misinterpreted an RT reporter while she clearly spoke the English language? Perhaps Mr. O'Reilly suffers from a hearing deficit-perhaps not. At any rate, Alyona put Mr. O'Reilly (Tool) in is place. Isn't FoxNews a contradiction in terms? Love your show Alyona!
