Lavy 5 December, 2008, 09:11 This signifies the typical American attitude and the image the 'ugly' Americans have all over the world - Ignorant, insensitive, arrogant, crude, callous and above all cruel to the point of unimaginable. Imagine a military vehicle pushing a diplomatic convoy off the road to prove.? Nothing. God help those that seek an enemy under every nook and want a nanny under every cranny!!

Johnny 5 December, 2008, 20:10 Hi Lavy… stay calm, I’m not an American ;) You know what bothers me is that the USA’s foreign policy seems completely disconnected to the USA’s espoused morality. Freedom and liberty at home but everything they seem to touch outside the country turns to shit. Now the immediate response to this will be, “yes they hypocrites and back biting bastards”. I would accept that, except for one thing, the US government is treating Americans like a piece of shit. They are screwing their-own…. and big time. When an administration lets a debt get to 11 trillion dollars, its criminal, they have sold America’s children’s children’s future. They quick to save banks, but they have not got a stimulus package out there yet. What is Bush waiting for! Another 100 million jobs down the toilet before he does something! And this bullshit about the tax payer will be repaid is not how stimulus works, what that means is that the central banks wants to make a profit, more than make sure America doesn’t go into a full blown depression. So I keep wondering what the hell is happening to the USA??? One very interesting thing is that Americans do not own America’s central bank. What this means that Americans “don’t own America”. The central bank seems to be owned by UK and Israeli shareholders. The country should own it!!!!!! It should be a 100% government owned American bank!!!!! It explains why the USA is getting screwed… big time. But here is my big worry; it also suggests that America is on “remote control”. As well as that democracy is not working properly. It’s the perfect weapon, a super power on remote control, which means if the shit really hits the fan, Americans get hit, not the shareholders that own the USA. This is all very theoretical, but boy it explains why the USA seems to have a suicide wish. If true, it also means that normal Americans are in big trouble, their government works for another country, a very dangerous scenario. So if anyone is wondering why I make the distinction between normal Americans and the US government, it’s because they don’t seem to be on the same side. If any country decides to go to war with the USA, they must also remember to target the policy makers… its so crazy, you probably wont even have to shoot a missile at the USA. Americans, have a good look at who is running your country! Russia, if you not happy about US policy and missiles in Poland, and cross border attacks in Pakistan, and America’s derogatory attitude towards India, or the overthrow of Congo… or or or Don’t talk to Bush… phone the shareholders that own America. Now I find it hard to believe my own theory… but watch the news after you have read this, it starts making sense… big time! America… Take your country back! I'm not sure Americans are the enemy!

David 6 December, 2008, 11:40 Patrick, You have said that there is no culture in Russia! Well, I certainly beg to differ. Have you been to Russia, and if so for how long, how many times and where have you travelled? If you haven't, you need to go there not watch documentaries on TV which gives the journalist's own point of view and nothing more. The only culture the USA has is running up debt and running down other countries portraying themselves as the high and mighty. This incident reminds me of when I took my daughter to Disneyland (well one can call USA Disneyland) no, the one in California. When there she wanted to go to the toilet, I asked this American lady if she would kindly take my daughter to the toilet, for me. Her husband, being the typical arrogant and irrogant racist American as he is, wanted to fight me, in front of my daughter. For what reason - I still do not know. Yes, I managed to take her to the toilet. I found a disabled toilet, the only one in the whole park, which was locked, ending up with my daughter toileting in the bushes. My daughter was 3 years old. Patrick, there are many people returning to Russia, many people from the West moving to Russia, not the other way round. USA and England have, through the media - Hollywood, magazines, documentaries - given this virgin, holier than though image of USA, but when people actually go to live or visit, they find a totally different picture. It is a fantasy, a fantasy that is believed by all in the West that they are the biggest and best and everyone else must bow to them. That is arrogance. It is ignorant to say Russia has no culture. One important matter that stems from Russia and the West needs to take note, Russia's family values out strips those of the West. Their family values supports and keeps their culture going. The West has nothing it is just Disneyland, make believe fantasy built on the destruction of the natives and robbing them of their land. This arrogant idiot needs to locked up with the key thrown away

ergatis 6 December, 2008, 15:59 Dear Aryan_Indian, I have seen Olivia's post and I laughed A LOT. If I wanted to answer her I would be more kind to a . poor girl that suffers by illusions of a "Great American Glory". She appears to be quite happy and it breaks my heart to destroy her dreams. You are right about Japan and Iraq. I could add Nicaragua, Korea, Vietnam and even Cuba. But I don't think that they can't catch Osama Bin Laden. They don't WANT to catch him. He is either their own agent or at least their perfect excuse for their wars now and in the near future! Now let's make some fun. Yahshuah_is_Our_Righteousness gives as evidence RT's advertisements in Washington DC. I can add three more points: 1. A little after I started reading RT.com and Moscow News a virus tried to infect my computer. 2. A little after I started writing in the forums of RT. I received a SPAM from . US Navy to join them! I still laugh. I would sooner join the Russian Navy, if the money were good. 3. The names of many journalists of RT are english names. Have you seen the pboto of Alice Hibbert with this scary sidelong glance? I loved it. The face of a spy. So with these four points at hand I could construct a . conspiracy theory connecting RT and CIA! But I resist the temptation. I hope Alice will forgive me for this joke.

Mimi 7 December, 2008, 07:59 How sad when you read all these comments. Are all Americans arrogant etc. etc., of course not. Travel around the world, live in different countries, than you can see that there is everywhere good and bad. 1 Toilet in Disneyland in California, what an absurb comment. Having been there so many times there myself with my children. Russia has a great history and culture. Can people in countries always help what their government is doing. Unfortunately not. Is everybody in America living in trailor parks? No. There are also Mobil Home Parks, a lot of people think they are the same. That are big homes, with 2 or 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a livingroom, a diningroom, a familyroom and a laundryroom for the washmachine and dryer. Outside their is a large patio by the frontdoor and by the backdoor a covered porch where 2 or 3 cars can be parked. There are smaller ones, but also larger ones who also have garage. I think that a lot of people would prefer them to the small apartment complexes their are in some cities in Russia. I am not writing this so knock Russia down, just to tell you the truth about American living. Yes, there are also bad housing area's in the USA, but just like ever where in the world you have people who just don't take care of their houses and their surroundings. I just wished that the Russia and the USA could be very good friends, it would be better for the whole world. We are all human beings and looking down on each other does not make any sense. We need to start getting along and put our differences aside so there can be PEACE for all in this world. May be than we all can prosper and have a good life. Right now the Islam religion is a big threat to world peace. Peace to all.

John 8 December, 2008, 12:50 To the Russian People: I would hope that our relationship will improve with more dialogue. I have much respect for the rich culture of Russia. You have tried to maintain your traditions. In America, the melting pot, culture changes frequently because in the process of assimilating many culures from all over the world, our culture takes many shapes. My parents were born and raised in Italy so I know how cultural pride can be exciting and sometimes very counter productive. I regret the mistakes our government has made throughout the world. Insensitivity to other nations and cultures is not my idea of greatness. I hope that the Russian people and nation will continue to reach out to Americans so that we the people can learn the truth about what we want for our future generations. May God bless the Russian people and may we Americans learn to always lead with our best intentions for promoting the true intentions of our forefathers. I would love to visit and teach in your beautiful culture. My wife and I would love to go ballroom dancing with Russians who are in my view the best dancers in the world. We are all brothers and sisters. Peace and love to all of the Russian people. John Merenda

F 8 December, 2008, 22:01 David, Your dead right, America has no culture, the only culture it portrays to the rest of the world is glitz and Hollywood, Disneyland and plenty of tinsel. That's all America is but tinsel, make believe. The only history they have is robbing the Indians of their land, and then slavery. When I lived in America I found Americans in general to be very phony. When I went to parties I was board out of my brains. Americans talked about loads of nothing. Any time I partied with the Russians they were the best parties I had ever been to. Russia is so rich in culture, arts and music. It is beautiful and full of dept. America is all on the surface, when you try to strip away the layers their is nothing after the first layer, no dept, just an empty big black hole. It is very superficial. When you watch American TV shows they always portray America as being the most wonderful place to be, and many people get sucked into thinking through watching TV that America is great, and want to go there, especially children. Its brainwashing, propaganda. That is one of the powers America has in the world, its movies and TV, and it has a big impact on children all over the world. When you live in America it is totally different to what is protrayed in the movies etc. It is very fast paced way of life with no time for family. It is the most unsafe country in the world to bring up children. Children can't walk down to the shops on their own without the fear of being kidnapped. If they want to play outside they must be watched by an adult for fear some weirdo might try to pick them up. If you bring children to the mall or anywhere you must watch them like a hawk for fear they could be kidnapped, because, you see, there is so much fear there for parents. Fear for their children's safety. You cannot relax. Here in Ireland children can run to the shop without fear. Go for a walk. Cycle their bikes, play outside all day long and I never worry because I know statistically that the chances of them being kidnapped are very very low. When I lived in America, every day a child went missing and would later be found dead somewhere. What kind of a culture generates this kind of sickness to its own children? There is no innocence left in children in America, it has been striped away by the media, by the time a child is 10 in America they are like little mini adults. They have seen so much violance and sex on the TV by that age that they have pretty much seen everything.

Steve 10 December, 2008, 04:50 F - There are over 300 million people in the U.S. The population in Ireland is a little over 4 million. The most recent year I could find statistics on child abductions in the U.S. was in 2002. In 2002, there were 46 kidnappings of children in the U.S., which resulted in death. This is very unfortunate and even 1 death is too many. However, this equates to less than 1 child per year in a country the size of Ireland. You are correct, that Americans make a big deal about child abductions and they do watch their children like a Hawk. I guess you can say this is part of American culture. And this fear that parents have, may also be a result of watching too much violence on T.V., but the real statistics don't sound as high as you try to make them sound and the U.S. may not even be more dangerous than Ireland afterall. Also, it is true that the U.S. contributes a lot of "soft" culture to the world in the form of movies, T.V., fastfood, music, skyscrapers, airplanes, the internet, ipods, etc. But the thing is, nobody is pointing a gun at people forcing them to consume or experience these products. In fact, there are a lot of people in the U.S. who don't embrace all of this modern culture. For example, a large religious group called the Amish are scattered all around Ohio, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Michigan. They make all of their own clothes, they farm, they don't watch T.V. or movies, they travel by horse and buggey, their homes aren't connected to the electrical grid, etc. This is their choice! Personally, I love traveling to other countries where the cities have a lot of history, classical art, etc. Most foreigners probably come to the U.S., not to experience the cities or Disney World, but to visit our awesome National Parks. When I visited a couple of National Parks in Utah this past Spring, there may have been more foreigners, than Americans there. I was glad to see it. Perhaps some did return home disapointed with their trip to the U.S., but I hope the majority had a good visit.

Svetlana 10 December, 2008, 09:20 Dear John, I fully agree with you. We really need a dialogue at least at the people’s level, even if our governments have great problems with it. I remember the beginning of 90-th, when RF was wholeheartedly open to cooperation with the USA. That was naïve, because Clinton’s administration had its own agenda. For us USA was one of the examples of democracy. Was it democratic will of American people, represented by Clinton and Bush Administrations to start anti-Russian policy and “antiterrorist” wars around the globe? Why independent candidates R. Paul and R. Naider never had a chance to debate official lines of McCain and Obama? Meanwhile, Paul and Naider opposed continuation of Clinton and Bush policies, supported by McCain and Obama. Why Saddam Hussein was hanged for killing Iraqi civilians, but Bush is clean? I find many similarities between USA and RF in regard to the media control, creating some external enemy to control the nation, elections, arms sales, etc. RF has got an authoritarian regime, which gives its citizens some sense of stability after turbulent past of 20th century. The majority of Russian population is passive. Perhaps, with time, newly created middle class will be big and influential enough to bring some changes. But at least RF regime is on the defensive side and USA is aggressive. In my view, RF and USA will benefit economically and politically by cooperation. RF will be more open to democratic changes. But it seems USA is obsessed with its domination issues and does not need any partners. My question is: is there real democracy in the USA? What needs to happen in the USA, so that the voices of its people were heard? Revolution?

ET 10 December, 2008, 11:33 There is a saying that Russians become soft if you give them enough vodka. When the Austrians became free from occupation in 1955, the Austrian delegation had kidney problems because of the vodka parties they had to participate in. If we look further on in history; The Germans and the Americans considered the Russian as easy to cheat and manipulate. Was Gorbatchov a fool or a higher standing individual? During the South Ossetian war, Russian had missed to push the Americans out of the Black See! Yes, it could have meant War! If Russia will always step back when challenged, than sooner or later a conflict will arise between Russia and the US for a big show down - the sooner the better!

Kotic 11 December, 2008, 15:55 Mimi: trailor parks, mobile homes, or whatever you call them. And as for your pre-fab homes, I guess the story`the three little pigs` didn`t serve as a moral story, not to build houses that fall apart. And yes Americans are arrogant because even you said that Islam is a threat to world peace. Arrogant = narrow- minded, to judge a whole religion based solely on what a blood thirsty government like yours has fed to you.

Johnny 13 December, 2008, 13:03 Hi Svetlana, We are definitely on the same wavelength, that 2 candidate US election started looking too much like the "Bold and the Beautiful" (Hollywood Movie) for me, nevertheless I think we all hoping that Obama will make a difference. The interesting thing that's happening on the web is that we discovering that the world is very small. There are some die-hards that probably also kick their dogs, but in general, "You dirty communist" vs. "You stinking capitalistic pig", turns into something like, "Yeah Bush is an asshole", and everyone agrees ;) I think dirty politicians on all sides must hate the Internet, and I'd go as far as to say that I think the next great revolution is going to be against borders. You can already see the trend, people are already starting to associate with a leader in another country, and don't even listen to the asshole they have running them. The leader that's going to run our world is going to do it without firing a single shot. Politicians better clean up and start looking after their people. I really worry that bankers have got control of politicians because bankers LIKE war, they finance them and wars also write off debt. worth thinking about. If countries start getting crazy aggressive, lets just all make sure we don't end up fighting for a goddamn banker. Fighting for your country is one thing, fighting for some bastard that's just going to foreclose on your house and tax you afterwards, makes me feel quite ill. So if radicals are getting stirred up, and it becomes those "Goddamn Communists", or it's "Us versus the Terrorists". watch out people, you going to fight for your banker. Remember, bankers like war. they finance both sides. The US now has these colored alerts, for the level of terrorist threat, and every time Bush changed the color, I would watch all the news channels and try locate where it was coming from. you know what I think. the USA has no enemies ;) It's not the Arabs; they too busy selling oil to the USA, and getting rich. It's not the Russians; they too busy trying to rebuild their country. It's not the Chinese; they too busy selling everything else to the USA. So I guess its one little guy that lives in a cave causing all this shit, he must be superman with a massive wallet. People make sure you don't end up like the old WWII guys. they also have no idea why that really started. Some say the funding for Nazi Germany came from western banks. but no one is sure. There is a lot of strange stuff going on, like these terrorist groups that are in Pakistan, were set up by the USA to fight the Russians when they were in Afghanistan. Makes me wonder! This world is making no sense. I think we need to all be a little careful and ask a hell of a lot of questions. It's the socialists, or it's the communists, or it's the terrorists, or it's the capitalist's. may mean, "take a bullet for me you dumb prick, and if you live, I'll tax what's left of you".

Johnny 14 December, 2008, 13:35 Hey Svetlana, I found something interesting, looks like we may not be too far from the truth after all; there are a few other people that thought the same way. -------- The Sad Story Of The Privately Owned Federal Reserve Bank "The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy and more selfish than a bureaucracy. It denounces, as public enemies, all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes. I have two great enemies, the Southern Army in front of me and the bankers in the rear. Of the two, the one at the rear is my greatest foe." PRESIDENT ABRAHAM LINCOLN - 1866 "We have given the People of this Republic the greatest blessing they have ever had-their own currency to pay their own debts." (No privately owned Federal Reserve or other central bank) PRESIDENT ABRAHAM LINCOLN - 1867 "The high office of the President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the Americans freedom and before I leave office I must inform the Citizen of his plight." PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY (10 days before he was murdered) "Like it or not, you are a slave. You admit you are a slave every April 15th! That's when you sign forms that "voluntarily" lay bare to the government the most private details of your life! And few people realize the income tax is a slave tax. It can never be compatible with the life of a free people. ALAN KEYES - Republican Nominee for President ------ From what I see happening out there on our planet, I think the warmongers may just get their wish. Plunging a world, with broken money, into a war, is actually a bit of a no brainer, it's the easy thing to do. I believe that if people want to fight and lobby for something worthwhile, fight for the sovereignty of your country's central bank, and fight for a new democratic global central bank and currency run by ALL countries. Lobby for a global central bank for the planet, by the planet. Lobby for a central bank for your country, by your country. The only commonality that I can find in these crazy wars, are that the countries participating are owned by the same bankers!!!!!!!!!!! We only have two choices, we either fix the bankers, or we kill each other. The riots around the world are already starting, and bankers are pulling the strings. Are the bankers just slow in helping Americans, or is creating a depression a good way to motivate an army... you watch how reluctant the senate is to help Americans, and tell me what you think. It's a banking war!!!!! Don't know about you guys in other countries, but I don't feel like fighting for these bastards!!!! ABRAHAM LINCOLN was a great man... he saw this coming!
