Images of flora and fauna were projected onto the exteriors of Chile's presidential palace Thursday night in celebration of World Environment Day. The event, organized by the Chilean government, was aimed at drawing attention to the need to preserve the country's ecosystems and biodiversity. “Mapping” technology was used to show images of various birds, animals and birds. World Environment Day is sponsored by the United Nations and observed globally through various events, this year with the theme of climate change.
