Hundreds of protesters marched in solidarity with the Operation Mothers and Grandmothers (OMG) who have occupied a field for 10 days now in opposition to fracking in Blackpool, Lancashire, in the northwest of England. The field is set to become the site for fracking operations by UK oil and gas company Cuadrilla Resources. Protestors marched down Blackpool promenade and took part in a “die-in” demonstration near Blackpool Tower. They also beat up a giant “Cuadzilla,” which represented fracking company Cuadrilla.
