Claims Syrian gvt used chemical arms ‘fabricated’ – Moscow

25.04.2014 11:48

Allegations that the Syrian government has been deploying toxic chemicals are false, the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday. Moscow says that it has evidence to the contrary, adding that such claims could be a pretext for intervention.

Another failed attempt at a false flag operation. I remember Oblamer never showed all the proof of last years gas attack. If Syria had actually used a gas attack, the proof would be plastered all over the news, instead of just accusations. And the real cause for war: competing oil and gas pipelines proposed to run through Syria.

Why is the West telling so many lies? Like Iago, the lies get more and more dangerous. Are they determined to create harm?.

The US will never admit they want to control Syria's natural resources and land. They did not admit this when they went into Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan and countless other nations on some pretext.

The US & EU are dangerous to humanity. Their goal is for a minority of elites to control the world and its people.

Lavrov didn't say they have NO evidence that Assad used chemical weapons, he said they have evidence to the CONTRARY. If Russia proves that US is behind this attack that would constitute a crime - for inciting, planning and financing this attack at the hands of others. So by the same token the US is promoting the removal of Assad "regime" and invading an independent country what the should the world do with the US once proved guilty?

Norma Brown 26.04.2014 10:49

Yes, the US is seeking a pretext -- any will do -- to assault Syria and remove another government it doesn't like. The US and our NATO hawks (the ones who are itching for WWIII so they can crush Russia) are especially needy for a chance to look manly now that their bluff is being called by Russia. The same premise -- that the last person with something to gain from shooting at civilians in Maidan was Yanukovych or the Russians -- applies to Ukraine. Somebody had an interest in causing turmoil to allow an armed take-over of government and an immediate turn to NATO. Who could it be?

I get so fed up and tired of these lying weasels trying to create pretexts to seemingly legitimize U.S. military action in Syria (along with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel and Turkey). MIT did a very thorough investigation - yes, one of our schools - and definitely concluded that Assad was NOT RESPONSIBLE for the Aug. 21 sarin gas that killed 380 (according to Doctors Without Borders - who dealt with the wounded and killed by the gas. Yet, still this lying and deceiving administration continues to blame Assad. Assad has been advancing and would never give the U.S. an excuse to send in its missiles against his army.

There is a report from Massachussets Institute of Technology, stating that chemical weapons have not been used by Assad's troops.

They are on it again, the al qaeda murderers. On the run, they hope to cheat again the gullible and opportunistic US neo-cons to benefit from a devastating bombing campaign like in Libya and seize power in whatever remains in Syria. Any provocation, including mass murder, will be used to reverse the government victory, but their days are numbered.

The US and their lapdog thugs are harping this nauseating WMD tune over and over for years now.

Now it's more boring than this ''work on laptop'' spam.

It's still unbelievable, though, what kind of brainless dimwits the US propaganda target audience is. People are not supposed to be this stupid, right?

You hear a lot about President Assad and his treatment of 'his own people'. The foreign jihad brigades are not 'his people' however. The question remains why the foreign countries providing the fighters for these jihadist brigades are not held accountable for the treatment of 'their own people' by allowing them to freely travel the world to injure others at great risk to themselves as well. Someone will lose a leg or eye, and then ask for national health services. These various states are hardly better than those offering Blackwater mercenaries to terrorise civilians.

Derek Maher 25.04.2014 18:00

Most of these claims are faked anyway judging by the poor acting on you tube video,s.

RT, you forgot the word "Again" (fabricated again).
