Abkhazia’s Deputy Interior Minister has been killed in Abkhazia’s capital Sukhum by an unknown assailant.

The Russian Navy has confirmed it will construct a sea base in the Abkhazian port of Ochamchira later this year.
Although Abkhazia has not yet been widely recognized, this small republic by the Black Sea issued a set of postage stamps, dedicated to its history and independence anniversary.
