An investigation into the deaths of two Abkhazian soldiers, killed after a clash with Georgian troops shows they were killed on the Abkhazian side of the disputed border.
That's according to the head of the peacekeeping force in the area.
Georgia had claimed its troops had intercepted a group of Abkhazian soldiers, who had crossed the border into Georgia.
Seven Abkhazian troops were arrested.
But the peacekeeper's investigation, held jointly with the UN, indicates the skirmish took place 700 metres into Abkhaz territory.
