While ACTA has apparently been rejected and shot down, you can be certain the Satanically evil Zionists will trot out a dozen more ACTA clones in their depraved attempt to censor and police the Western and Global Internet.

To previous posters, YES USA's former President Bush jr. and now President Obama were instrumental in pushing ACTA onto various EU-Zone leaders under the guise of 'National Security'. In regards to Spain, it appears in a US State Department wikileaked cable the Spanish leaders were outright threatened and extorted if they didn't come on board the evil goose stepping Zionist censorship piece of legislation known to the public as ACTA.

Under the guise of 'National Security' President's Bush jr. and Obama stopped all public quiery's to the full drafts and legislation which were backroom crafted and debated in private during EU-Security Council meetings.

Goose stepping agencys prevented reporters, journalists and private firms to learn the entire scope and depth of the ACTA legislation although once signed by all the EU-Zone parliaments, all EU-Zone citizens would be fully expect to legally abide by it or face serious consequences even thou 'THEY' were prohibited from learning all of the ACTA law they were being ordered to abide by!

...and then Sarkozy show's up and said : Let's vote again, the Irish style...indeed it is not over, next time will pass, as they play with society...EU  will "observe" the internet chats, in order to see ..yes- no   numbers..They do it all the time on main stream media... Is this knowledge coming directly from Poland? Only their women participate in EU, specially on poles and behind windows in Amsterdam.

@teddyformusic,
Y ou're making a big mistake saying the 'evil' you're describing comes from the United States. Get your facts straight before you start blabbering about who is to blame.Thank you.

I suppose we can replace "agriculture" by "Mosanto" here.

ACTA is a SPAWN of AMERICAN-designed "rights for corporations and none fo rreal people" "laws"...
ane xample is of course the USA "copyright" laws -- such as MONSANTO - big monopolies like MICROSOFT and the giant recording industry, pharmaceuticals, genetics etc, industries use as a cover to TAKE rights away FROM ordinary people (includi9ng the individuals whose ideas are "bought out") ....use to control everything under the sun.
this ACTA-spawn of the USA "laws" -- is the SAME thing as the DISASTER CAPITALISM from the USA promoted by its obedient "europeans leaders" -- whether it's the NATO , wars, "regime change", "global cop", Goldman Sachs, Washington Consensus., "austerity/deficit redution" schemes, Bail outs of Big PRIVATE BANKS and speculators....
A LL of it has its philosophical and intellectual roots IN THE USA.
make no msitake about that.

What's the catch? One of the rare occassions when the EU looks after the interests of all it's citizens must come with strings attached. If not, then lets hope that this outbreak of common sense spreads to the foreign policy forum. The catch is, they are going to add more regulation to it, make another name for it, and reintroduce it at a later date. Same thing happened to us in the USA and we're still fighting it. Keep on your toes over there!

Eat that UKIP...
You want out of the EU, then you're stuck with the ACTA-like proposals, and other ones to censor the internet, and make content available only on an an opt-in basis where you have to get permission from the authorities.

Anuone who wants to start an internet firm, or grow an existing one to the online market. Go to mainland Europe, where the people can actually access what you have to offer...

They will sneak it through another way, regardless of what the people want. This seems to be the pattern now in "demcoratic" societies. The government puts forward a law;people complain; law does not get passed; government waits a few months until the smoke clears and sneaks the law through as part of some 1000-page budgetary amendment which nobody is aware of.

What this ACTA is about is really to stop file-sharing, and force people to
give their money to Hollywood, or the record companies (RIAA). Those
guys can't stand to lose a penny, even though they are collecting money
on works that they paid the original musicians or actors pennies to create.
But they want to milk money from those things for hundreds of years.
Hollywood put a lot of money into Obama's pocket and this bill is their pay
in return. Too bad Obama is getting tossed out by The Bilderberg Group.
