Of course the Taliban et al. is refocussing on Russia. With an active negotiating strategy of the US towards the Taliban, based on if you re-focus on Russia, we will support you with military aid and finacing. Then of course this is bound to happen. The Taliban get a let up and support from the US, the USA gets disengaged, and gets rid of a problem, and Russia picks up the mess after providing help which in the end will disadvantage her. Whilst Russia still provides supply routes - in the future these will be carrying weapons for direct use against Russia, all transported with Russian help and assistance. You can see why the Americans would be laughing. Wakey wakey! Remember the Rules: Rule 1 America always acts against Russian interests Rule 2 Follow Rule 1 Rule 3 Follow Rule 2 Ans start acting for Russian interests directly with the Taliban et al. and not through a negotiator who is trying to negotiate the worst position for you. Get smart!

i dont think the Taliban want to mess with the Russians since they know if they do , the Russians will get involve in Afghanistan and they know if that happens they ll be dead for sure , also they dont want to strength the relationships between USA and Russia by being in a war together.

The previous comments are a little confusing. It is not in the Talibans'interest to see Russia and the USA unite against them. America manipulating those fanatics will be silly and will blow-up all possible cooperation with Russia. We must remember that the Talibans and Al-Quaïda are US made products. So, let America worry about it. It seems to me that Mr Obama has already found the solution: involve more and more NATO in whole that region and find dummies to inherit of the mess. If I can allow myself to give advises to Russia' s leaders, I shall say: Ignore those idiots; let them clean-up their own mess; make your country a decent society and the best possible example for others to follow. Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin
