Somali pirates free Ukrainian ship

Somali pirates have released a Ukrainian cargo vessel held captive for more than two months. The twenty-man crew of the Faina was freed following talks between the pirates and Ukraine's foreign ministry.

The Somalian pirates who seized a Ukrainian ship carrying military cargo have agreed to cut down their ransom demands. They also showed the crew to a U.S. Navy ship blocking the hijacked ‘Faina’ vessel to prove they are still alive.
