I wasn't aware that Aussies pay taxes to the monarchy. It's the carzy greenie controlled government that our taxes go to and sadly not for a good cause but to waste and to destroy Australian economy.As far as freedoms go then Australia has had very strict movement control over its citizens for at least 15 years. While the UK and US never checked people leaving the country then Australia always did. For me it is always a very unpleasant procedure as one never knows what the almighty computer may say about a person. Australian immigration computer is linked to Centrelink and the Tax office and these guys are well known for wanting citizens for an "interview" over nothing. To make things even worse, an Australian citizen cannot be absent from a country for more than 13 weeks. After that s/he becomes a non-resident which will lead to the loss of residency, unless there is a trip back to Australia. Can you believe this? An Australian citizen will lose residency if s/he is absent from the country for longer than the government likes! I do not know any other country in the world with more oppressive rules than this.

Well I better not try and go abroad .Denied entry=denied entry.to western countries.The UK is only copying the USA .She would be "held for questioning" for several days.As most of the posters here said the UK/USA are turning their countries into a far right "HELL" for its citizens as regards FREEDOM of speech=freedom of travel=ALL your communications monitored! I thank GOD I am old =But I really feel for young people who grow up in these countries.The amount of restrictions that will be applied to them ALL their lives.Wont be able to speak out or they will be "CLASSIFIED" as "enemy of the state".At least I remember how we had some freedom The young people never will!

@smj  Stuff should never be about 'jews'. Look at the growing numbers of jews across the world (including Israel) who are protesting against the warmongering policies of Israel & the US/UK etc. There is a nasty faction within the Jewish community, which we know as zionists.
