Published: 28 June, 2007, 15:13

At least five people have been killed in a plane crash in northern Angola. An Angolan Airlines aircraft crashed on landing at an airport in the town of M’banza Congo, around 300 KM north of the capital, Luanda.

The Boeing 737 reportedly had 78 people on board.

A local news agency says the plane lost control on landing and crashed into a building. It said a number of severely injured passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.
