Australia's 'lost world' dazzles with new species

A remote mountain range in northern Australia just gave the world three new species after sitting in isolation for millions of years – including a ‘primitive-looking’ gecko. The scientists are excited for a return, hopeful of uncovering more new species.

Years ago discovering new species on our planet was fascinating, but today I worry for any new species, plant or animals found as we as humans seem to destroy anything that we touch and then we try to preserve them in Zoos. The Zoos are doing good work to preserve animals but if we as humans really wanted to preserve animals we would stop the inhumain destruction of nature and their habitats.
