She's right..we shouldn't sprinkle water on the faces of these poor little guys who cut an Australian truckers head off with a dull hacksaw, murders civillians, etc.BY THE WAY..I'm a trucker too,and I can tell you, using a hacksaw that way gives us a sore throat and we don't like it.Enjoy your new home,guys..don't worry,I heard they're hiring a lifegaurd there soon because of the drowning(waterboard) problem.Have fun with your new little friends!

"Inmates of the US-run prison outside Bagram Air Base north of Kabul complained of freezing cold, humiliating strip searches and being deprived of light"
Booo fricken hoo. The stateless enemy combatants aren't treated fairly, are they? Wait a minute. Didn't they bring this on themselves? Is cutting a person's head off more humane and fair? Hiding behind women? Blowing children up? Killing 2,000 Americans?
As far as I'm concerned, they are getting fed & their limbs are still intact. They are fine.

Instead , let's talk about Iranian, North Korean or Chinese prisons, or better yet, Russia's infamous gulags.

You people think "inhumane", but in reality you have no idea what you are talking about. Let's see the dirty secrets of the pinko commies' nations before we accuse the US.

I find President Karzai's concern laughable. He is well aware of the nature of the beast that controls his country yet does little in real terms to try and bring the U.S. to account. Unlike Iraq, who refused to grant the American occcupation forces immunity for any crimes committed whilst in that country, Karzai has agreed to their continued presence without the type of guarantees that the Iraqi government demanded. Despite the continued casualites amon gst non-combata nts, continued night terror raids, and now the Bagram 'revelations' all that Karzai does is blow hot air. It would appear he has little concern for his citizens who look to him to provide security for them. Most people are aware of America's reputation for harsh and often criminal treatment of detainees so this should be no surprise to Karzai despite all of his bluster. If he truly had his country's inter ests at the forefront of his concerns instead of his own, he would insist that the U.S. comply with international norms whilst there or leave. But of course that's not going to happen, for in reality he remains in power because of the Americans. When they go so will he. The only useful thing he could do now is carry on doing nothing. Oh, I suppose he could ditch the cape.

It makes me sick that they use prisoners to experiment on. Now they want to know the effects of  no sunlight. This is for their selfish purpose of when they retreat to their basements and underground lodges like under Williamsburg Va, the bunkers in israel and the bunkers in jews homes. It is all so sickening, I want us to lock them underground forever.

The culture of state sponsored normalized torture is a hallmark of totalitarian/fascist state. The fact the openly uses state sanctioned torture, extraordinary assassinations and violent regime changes but by and large there is massive uprising inside the U.S indicates to the remaining global nuclear powers- most of all, Russia and China- must form alliance against U.S fascism.

What's the problem here? The US now has NDAA, so this is all LEGAL.   I joke- this is complete b.s.  Only 300 out of 3000?  So, the US is holding 2700 persons without charge? The US makes me want to vomit.  Thier arrogance knows no bounds.  Hmmm...what country(s) in the past have taken this attitude, and are no longer around (in that form)?Nazi GermanyUSSR His tory's dustbin is getting full, but I think there is a little room left. The sooner this corrupt govt of the US is replaced with sane people, the better.  These actions are NOT what the average american wants.  Unfortunately, we are in the same spot as Soviet and Nazi citizens were.  The US govt. is doing exactly what they did- if you speak up against them, then you must be assumed to be an enemy.  This is far from the truth- in fact, it is oppposite of the truth. IF one has the courage to speak against govt. atrocities and crimes, then one is a patriot of and for what America (kind of- since it's always been a warmongering nation) used to be.
