Bahrain retries convicted protest doctors

Bahrain is to retry 20 medics who treated protesters during last year’s uprising, despite earlier promises to spare 15 of them. A military tribunal earlier sentenced them to up to 15 years in prison, causing international criticism.

Not surprisingly, this is how they run the country, too. It's a family business run by untrained family members with vested interests.  Imagine your extended family running a country.  There might be a few capable family members, but they're going to be drowned out by crazy old uncle Harry (or Khalid or Salman) because the old codger happens to have the most money, connections and people who owe him something.  In this case, the UK.   Someone should write a real book on this family.

You should add the following sentence to the last line: " This is while the allegation against the Iranian interference was discredited by the Bahrain's own sponsored and independent investigation report in 2011."

Surely this comes under the Hippocratic oath?? To treat everyone and anyone that needs help no matter what! Unless Bahrain is now so badly under American influence Money first, help second.
