Just show us the Vostok core data graphs for the last half million years, apply the Milankovitch hy pothesis and we shall be silent about our anthropogenic activities. "To move the country from fossil fuels" - this  doesn't make any sense at all. Because that would require adaptation and decarbonization which would have direct negative impact on fuel and energy industries and our ever increasing dependency. Let 's forget about these environmental scary stories and wait for another couple of millions years to compare our notes. But we have to remember that it'll take a few glacial and interglacial thousands of years  to 'uncover' our carbon footprint by future isotopes, why to worry now?  Busi ness as usual, and not only in America.
