24.09.2013 13:54

Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff lambasted US spying on her country at Tuesday’s UN summit, calling it a “breach of international law.” She further warned that the NSA surveillance, revealed since June, threatened freedom of speech and democracy.

... founded, with Fidel Castro & Hugo Chávez, the São Paulo Forum. [...] Brazil state is growing, is protecting it's industry and is destroying it's Legislative & Judiciary powers.

Ha haha - every state and leader you mentioned here is more positive that what the USA had to offer (e.g. Bush). Those countries do not envade other countries. They do not drop Agent Orange on other countries. Not to mention atom bombs. So what? The Communism as we know it is not the best. But free capitalism as we know it is the worst.

For the hordes of America-lovers, Dilma Rousseff is guilty of the ultimate Thought Crime: exposing America and its Orwellian NSA.

They try to play the 'Anti-Americanism' Card to discredit Rousseff but what she is saying is the truth. In fact, the crimes of America are even worse than admitted. Read former NSA operative John Perkin's book CONFESSIONS OF AN ECONOMIC HITMAN for a first-hand account of what America (and the NSA) do around the world in terms of not only spying on but killing and overthrowing foreign leaders and governments that refuse to adopt America's rapacious 'market reforms' and capitalism.

Her party, Worker's Party (PT), founded, with Fidel Castro & Hugo Chávez, the São Paulo Forum. It's aim is to implement Hugo Chávez's Bolivarian socialism in L.A. & the Caribbean. These are the participants: FARC, Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, Peru, Bolívia, Uruguai, Equador, Nicaragua, Brazil, El Salvador, Honduras, etc. Brazil state is growing, is protecting it's industry and is destroying it's Legislative & Judiciary powers.

I am Latin American and I don't indignated at all. In fact, the US should be watchful with what is going on bellow it's south borders. To begin with, Dilma is an ex terrorist and a marxist.

The US has been spying for hundreds of years so what is all the fuss about? And on the back of every dollar bill bears the proud motto: "Novus ordo seclorum," more or less meaning; "The world and history begin with us." HUBRIS!

Zina Saidova 25.09.2013 06:44

Oh please Dilma you are ridiculous.. ! Stop distracting Braziliany peoples with anti-americanism. Teachers are striking and you are caring about Monitoring US surveillance. Brazilian corporate are owned by this same oligarchy who spy on you because they don't trust a socialist like you.. . .. Venezuela, USA is your first oil buyer so if you want to punish them stop selling them oil.. U don't talk about this idea :-D ... 2 clowns on the stage.

Congratulations to Pr. Rousseff on her outspokenness, her firm stance and felt courage to face internationally renowned bullies.

To reiterate: the time for bullies, warmongers and instigators of conflict is past.
Spying or eavesdropping on 'friendly neighbours' won't be tolerated.

This lady is a tiger; she's fearless!
Years spent in prison where she endured torture under dictatorship, have empowered her, sharpened her democratic values and principles.
Rous seff doesn't mince her words. Her clarity of vision is like a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale era!

I´m really proud about the leadership of President Dilma, standing firmly against this spying process. The US government is no longer trustable.

UnRegio40ton 25.09.2013 03:23

Seems to be that this lady has more balls than mexican president Peña Nieto who has been evasive about the subject since then....what a shame for him....anyhow , we will see the epilogue of the drama.....

Just had a thought after reading this: USA are spiting on the World in despise. What if the entire World will spit on USA in despise?

Tom Greg 24.09.2013 23:30

Maybe the USoA has not spied on anyone. Maybe this whole thing was just fabricated to make the USoA look bad...

philippe 24.09.2013 23:20

I have so much respect for this real woman at this time .. I just pray she goes through with her plan s...... and the rest of the gutless population of the globe follows suit....

Andrew Welsh 24.09.2013 22:28

I'm not sure if I should be happy that another country is standing up to the U.S or scared that we're that much closer to war.
