Excellent story. the British are the kings of hypocrisy. A tiny has been nation ,whose future is firmly in the past and yet it continually interferes in the external affairs of sovereign nations. Let's have more stories on the true mettle of British diplomats. A very amusing piece indeed! Well done to those who released the video. Very, very entertaining.

I can understand the temptation but, as he is divorced, couldn't he have just found a girlfriend? It really is basic security stuff in his line of work - don't do things for which you could be blackmailed later (like sleeping with prostitutes). Now he's lost his job.

Great Story, certainly made me laugh for the day. Caught well and truly with his trousers down. Yes Britain, is a has been nation, but as Jim says is always interfering in other countries. Look what a mess it got the US into in Iraq with its Google based intelligence. Anyway this is one Brit who won't be interfering any more!

this makes me think of all james bond movies where her majesties agent 007 delivers a deadly blow while ordering his famous drink to a waiter.. and the reality is..??? ..mucho mucho differente.. agents getting laid like they never had some sex in life, it is sad, really, they should stop making james bond movies and go for secret china agent 1000 or something, it would make more sense, then a has been nation humping it's way to supremacy.. :D ohhh, democracy isn't it so lovely..

No you give UK politicians huge expense accounts to rob the people! But you do like to kill the odd scientist who blows the whistle on WMD Intelligence lies! and of course the odd G20 protestor and the Iraqi people .... lets stop, before we get a shopping list. Enough to say, Britain generates a lot of stiffs, especially their diplomats with women in the night! British Diplomats a hard act to follow!

@James No you just hire some mafia goon that you control in Russia to do it for you probably a pal of Berezovsky or false flag attacks like 7/7 where the lead bomber was recruit by MI6 during the 90's or with MI6 intelligence chief hiring assassins in Croatian to kill then Serbian leader Kustinica that they themselves helped installed. Not to mention two SAS soldiers caught red handed by Iraqi police placing bombs in a Baghdad market who were broken out of prison by the Iraqi army.

when you talk about the British nation do you mean the British goverment or the British people.we have no more control over our goverment than you have over yours. when you say we are a nation of hasbeens do you say it with tongue in cheek?I stay in Scotland ten miles from the base that is the home of the Trident ballistic submarines. I bear no malice towards Russia or the Russian people so why all this hatred towards people you have most probably never spoken to or met.

Yes the British diplomats, they hasbeen in the brothel with the ladies, all on Her Majesty's Service. Service being the operative word! But they have a pedigree, they hasbeen in India killing the odd 30 million, they hasbeen in Africa, doing a bit of the old slavery discount shoping, and Gunboat diplomacy, they has been in the middle east bashing up the old Arabs to fill up their tanks. They has been in Ireland, annexing North of Ireland (territorial Integrity, I hear you cry!) .......the list is endless They hasbeen in lots of places, getting drunk and exploiting the natives. So now in Russia they get their little missiles out, whilst at home in that craggy land, they get their big US misslies out, because they can't make a big one themselves! Must be the Whisky effect! Britain, a soft place, dreaming of its hard past, just like an old man well past his sell by date!

Given the journo's sarcastic and snide style of reporting and the tone in her voice, it seems that Russia Today still has a long way to go to provide unbiased reporting. This is simply a stooge of Russia's other non-partisan media outlets voicing the opinion of the Kremlin and that modern day dictator, Putin. So what that he got filmed using prostitutes. At least the guy comes from a country that allows freedom of speech, the right to assembly and an opposition government who a) exists, and b) actually contributes to the political landscape, unlike Russia. They have replaced the one party rule of Communism with the United Russia party!!
