They are indeed NOT "Dinosaur eggs" and I am very suprised that RT did not do a little more research on this. 'Concretions' are very common. I have found many of them where I also find fossils of whales in northern California along the coast. They are possibly deposits created originally by organic (plant) materials, but they are in no way "Eggs" of dinosaurs of ANY kind!~

These are not dinosaur eggs. They are clearly cannonball concretions as the cojoined pseudoeggs in the picture demonstrate. Pictures of cannonball concretions can be seen by googling either "Tout ce que la nature ne peut pas faire, IV : sphères de pierre", "Boules de pierre en Slovaquie, République Tchèque et Pologne", or "Moeraki Boulders".

Would like to have one sent to the Obommer so that he incubate it by sitting. Would that be great he will surely be re-elected. Headline American President hatched Dino egg. What a Screme. America love a screme

6 0 million years ago... im very sceptical that area wasnt mountain, at that time even grand canyon was underwater/not flushed by tidals, and most of known mountains didnt even erupt that time.

Thanks, RT, for an amazing article.Fresh petrified dinosaur eggs from perhaps two different species, based upon the variation in size.  This might be worth carefully dismantling quite a bit more of that mountain.   ----   A skillful group of investors allied with local politicians interested in increased local employment might create a company that excavates these dinosaur eggs while carving up stone building blocks.  Improving the local economy through tourism, while building the tourist hotel accommodations from this new stone quarry would be a nice move.
