What is Japan's beef. They took those islands at the height of their imperial phase, using muscle when China was weak. The World War Two Cairo declaration issued by Roosevelt, Churchill and Chiang Kai Check (representing China) disposed of those by declaring that they would go back to China after the defeat of Japan. Th US changed its position after the Communist victory in 1949 and became allied with Japan to "contain" communism. That's the story. What's your beef Japan?
