Tokyo, Oct. 2 (Jiji Press)
Tokyo Electric Unveils New Leak of Highly Radioactive Water
Tokyo Electric said Wednesday that highly radioactive water leaked at its crippled Fukushima plant from a different water storage tank from the one where a similar leak was found in August.
The amount of the leak is uncertain, but 200,000 becquerels of beta ray-emitting radioactive materials, such as strontium-90, per liter were detected in water inside the dikes surrounding the tank's area. The water may have leaked outside the dikes, Tokyo Electric added.

Northern hemisphere to be uninhabitable when next 7.0 hits. Reactor 4 spent fuel pool collapsing would cause an incredible release of radiation. To put it in perspective, one pound of plutonium dispersed around the world evenly, would kill every human being. Yet, all we ever hear about are the water leaks. More problems there than anyone can know.

Cat: chill down. The US, China, Russia and other industrialized countries are putting in an order of magnitude more poisons in the air, water, food, medications, vaccines, and the ground, than ten Fukushimas per year. You and I are eating, drinking, inhaling, and absorbing through our skin these poisons every day, all in the name of good business...

Yo ur point being?...
...... that it's ok? It doesn't matter? What?

Oh well. Just add it to the 300 tons a day going into the Pacific.

JPSamulcek 01.10.2013 12:43

The irony here would be laughable if it didn't endanger the world.

Look. Those Japanese idiots put that monster nuke plant right on the beach, right in a known Tsunami zone and now it is poisoning the Pacific Ocean !!! The Pacific Ocean people!!! That's not small potatoes. Russia, China and the United States need to quit pretending it will go away. They need to quit worrying about offending the Japanese. They need to intervene and get this fixed NOW ! NOW ! You didn't play games with BP.
