Was the Captain's name Capitalism? If it was then yes, Captain Capitalism was to blame. BAHahahaha. Right. That's about as ignorant as saying Socialism was to blame.
Maybe it was one of those Al-Qaeda reefs that wasn't on the charts?
Let me guess, could it be drinking and driving? I wonder if they let everyone out of steerage before that filled up. Radar or sonar wouldn't have helped. It takes a half mile to stop those things under full speed.
H ave you heard of something called "radar" ? Every decent ship has one and it beeps the hell out of it if it detects a solid mass at least 500 meters away. The wreck was a complete ph (and) uck up of someone who was not at the place where he should have been, at the radar.
How do you think they could possibly navigate at night or approach ports at night or navigate in icy waters?
because it is capitalism which has always pushed for unnatural ways of relating to nature, placing you 10 kms above the ground at 1000 kms an hour, always in pursue of conquering something or going somewhere else, never happy with where they are.
Transportati on means separate people, place them apart, in different continents, then they even grotesquely end up chatting with their relatives by video because their selfishness drove them to go elsewhere instead of just settling where they were born and staying all together
How in the blue blazes is capitalism to blame? Accidents happen. Surely, you don't need me to bring up the never-ending and on going disasters brought about by governments and the interference of the State. Because of capitalism wrote in #3
This is the consequence of capitalism. People get into plastic cylinders ten kms above the ground and fly 1000 kms an hour, then they either blow themselves up in the air because some shortcircuit, crash with another plane, get depressurized, lose a wing while flying and god knows what, or they get into a ship just for fun and leisure, knowing that capitalism only cares about profit, once they have paid their ticket, they dont care about their safety, the liner will cash in the insurance anyways (although the insurer, capitalist himself too will try to find an excuse not to pay), or they get into German trains at 284 kms an hour only to derail and kill hundreds, yet instead of giving up those speeds they still want to ride faster to make more money so that they can get to the station 5 minutes before. I dont fly, I dont drive, I just ride my bike on the country side, or walk, and if I walk I always watch the cars, dont trust them either, many a time they ve killed people who were walking on the sidewalk. But, they ll never want to learn.

It shows a great lack of respect for the lives lost in Titanic (1,517), to quote what someone stupidly said in order to cause more impact.1,517 lives VS 3 lives. Not like Titanic at all. Be better than that.
