CSKA destroyed their cross-town rivals Lokomotiv in the Sunday’s Moscow derby.

CSKA 4-1 Lokomotiv Moscow

With striker Vagner Love sidelined, it was Alan Dzagoev who took on the leading role for the Army men. A brace from the youngster and a well-worked goal from Zhirkov put CSKA three up.

Montenegrin Basha then got one back for Loko with ten minutes left but a late Maazu strike made sure CSKA got all three points.

Zenit 0-0 Amkar

Elsewhere, Zenit missed their opportunity to become leaders of the Russian Premier League after a goalless draw against Amkar.

The draw leaves Zenit in third place, a point behind Krylya Sovietov and Dynamo.

Spartak Nalchik 1-1 Saturn

And in the last game of the dat Spartak Nalchik draw 1-1 with Saturn. Two goals in the last ten minutes of the match ensured a point for either side – a poor consolation as both sides remain in the bottom of the table.
