it is rather amusing, that Russia likes to engage countries of the EU individually, then calls all this internal- taking EU as 1 organisation. Russia doesnt want to be seen as the one decomposing the bloc, on one hand it is ´passively´, on the other its waiting for EU to make its business inside. So its not evil Russia helping the inevitable. Russia sees, but doesnt comment on what it knows, but Russia does know alot, at least the elite. It is fact Lisbon overrides governments powers in many areas. This is to be very concerned about. My censored comment however informed about already that happening. But what can I do when different opinion is politically incorrect, when lie is truth and peace is war? When speaking about Christianity is incorrect? Anyone responsible should be worried. EU is meant to help us, if it is against us, we have no obligation going against our own well being. Simply Power in Brussels is just getting away from raslity, bureaucracy for the system instead of real needs people have.

London Economist has in its yesterday's edition shown statistics that indicate a steady erosion of East European positive opinion on "democracy" and "free markets". The survey did not link this to EU, but the inference is, the lowering of the numbers means less enthusiasm in EU and NATO institutions. The most common complaint, accross whole Eastern Europe and Baltics, is that the new system has enriched a few, and did little to nothing for ordinary people. The fall in confidence is the greatest in Latvia and Hungary. It is also precipitous in Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine. While the numeric drop in support in Poland and Czech Republics is not large, the fact that the support is falling has raised concern. It should be considered to be very disturbing that withdrawal from EU and NATO would bring "harsh" reactions. These members joined voluntarily, why cannot they withdraw? Or perhaps, "voluntarily" is too strong a word.
