Czechs use music to protest U.S. missile shield

A music festival in protest against U.S. plans to deploy elements of an anti-missile defence base in the Czech Republic is underway in the town of Plzen located 90 km west of Prague.
Washington has also asked Poland to allow it to place ten interceptor missiles on its soil.
The majority of the public in both countries, which recently joined NATO, are against plans for missile shield bases on their territory.
Russia is against the proposal, saying that it would spark a new arms race.
