The British National Archives has declassified documents relating to the visit of Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev to Great Britain in 1956 and the disappearance of a British special agent connected with the event.
What about the russian guy? Didn't he get under suspicion?
although i have no idea about what he was doing in my opinion there could have been two reasons for his death. 1. the case he was assigned to was kept to personal, secret or contained little information which put him in danger of coming across an unknown danger when diving to the ship wether he was the one causing trouble or not. 2. this isnt very likely but he could have been working for Khrushchev in a plan to distract attention as he wasnt very sneaky about his job.Although it is not clear why he would need to distract attention. if it wasnt distraction then maybe it was to annoy the british by making them seem so suspicious who knows although this doesnt explain his death maybe he just wasnt needed no more although khrushchev doesnt seem like the bad guy to me. wow this is confusing!!

Call me cold, but it sounds like a English spy wasn't all that sneaky. Perhaps he got what he deserved for trying to sabotage a Russian vessel. *shrug*
