Actually Dachau camp outside Munich was used for 8 years after the war to detain German prisoners of war, other camps were used to such as Belsen, there were also makeshift camps set up, a simple google on the net can reveal the extent of it via historical websites, although beware of personal sites which can greatly deviate from the truth. The holocaust is another story, I have personally visited most of the camps and each one has signs up stating that no gassings took place except for gassing clothing and bedding due to disease and lice. The only camp I have visited which still states gassings took place is Auschwitz however there is no sign of a chamber apart from what looks like an air raid shelter next to the old SS barracks. Just to note, the USA built a gas chamber at Belsen after the war but had to admit no gas chamber ever existed and it was only to show what one would have looked like. The figure of 6 million is actually now been lowered t 1.5M according to historical factual records and most of these dies of Typhus which was spreading at an alarming rate.Yes barbaric crimes were played on both sides, but if you research the numbers the allies did kill more civilians than Germany.

There were no concetration camps for Germans in Poland. Those were transitional camps and were ex-territorial - they belonged to Soviet Union and the Red Army not to Poland. Most of those people were quickly send to soviet occupation zone in Germany in matter of few weeks. They were held in transitional camps until numbers were high enough to justify the transport. Most Germans fled long before Red Army came and even after occupation most left voluntarily. People with mixed heritage or even polish tried to show their german origins just because in Germany they had better perspectives of life and work than in devastated Poland.
And no - Germans killed more people than allies, just the Holocaust makes attacks on civilian population during allied bombing raids very small in comparison.

During the war years Stalin killed 40m people, the USA dropped two atom bombs on two Jap citys killing millions of innocent people, in the USA they built concentration camps for American Japs and miss treated them. The Allies destroyed most citys in Germany at the end of the war, these were not military targets but innocent civilians. Most concentration camps in Germany and Poland were used by the allies to hold german prissoners, many of these people were kicked and beaten as well as starved. Why did none of the allied leaders face war crimes? simply because they were the victors who wrote history with their own version. Fact: during WW2 the allies killed more people that what the Germans did. These old guys who were in the SS should be left alone, they have to live with the images and memories of what happened, unless of course they want to try British, Russian and USA soilders and leaders for crimes they commited. Just my honest thoughts.

I have a question.  Why is it that the Jewish people who were forced to work for the Nazi's, in their most evil doings, are not held accountable but are sympathyzed with, excused, and honored as "victims" with assertions like: 'well, I had no choice, they would have killed my family and thousands of my people, if I didn't do what they told me to do.'  Just the other day I viewed a documentary on TV which showed this very thing.  We all know there are many such survivors presently living in Israel and elsewhere because it's publicised at least annually.  Why is the Zionist Media making such a commotion over one Eastern Orthodox Slavic Christia n?  When there exists lots of evidence indicating Mr. Demjanjuk is not guilty of these allegations. &n bsp;I love Jews and I love non-Jews alike, in fact I married a wonderful Jewish woman whom I love most dearly, and I wholly support the state of Israel.  However, this case reeks of a publicity stunt.  Leave this old man alone, you have terrorized him enough!  For crying out loud, just because he's a Slavic Orthodox Ukranian Christian!  Have you no shame at all?
