A tragic and likely preventable indicident, harsh environmental conditions cannot be underestimated and watertight integrity must be accurately assesed and carefully monitored in such cases. Sea states such as this can reach over the handrails and flood any deck hatch not properly secured for instance, simply walking about to even check these preload tanks in sub freezing conditions would be incredibly hazardous so the investigation will center on decision to jack down into the water  in the harsh westher or how this circumstance developed. Regardless, great that training prevailed and at least some crewmembers suited up and survived , God be with the missing and their families.

This is terrible for all those involved families. We feel a great sorrow for this loss. We are in a state of shock for that at least 53 people are dead.* You have all my support, I expect that Norway as a nation supports this loss. We are with you in mourning. I personally as previous oil worker know what fear my family has, for that I never return.

That shows that the nuclear platforms being built in St. Petersburg are much necessary in harsh conditions to guarantee energy supply.

Well, I guess this means we'll have to stop drilling for evil oil everywhere on Earth now, the environuts won't like this. Nevermind the people who died, they are more worried about what "Mother Earth" thinks!

Perhaps Mother Earth does not desire drilling, especially under water, to prevent pollution to the water that is the basis of life on this planet, and like fire, should be much more respected and revered. Technology kills, and it should 'come as no surprise'. Technolo gy kills with its accompanying pollution, beginning with  its manufacture, throughout its productivity, and in its demise as infectious or  hazardous waste.

That sea kills if you fall in the water, it is so cold.  God keep them.
