March 22, 2012 08:13
Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, an influential group holding half of the seats in the new parliament, may field a candidate for the May presidential election. The move would break an earlier promise not to seek presidential power.

Most intelligent and wealthy --- Why must they always rule?
The Muslim Brotherhood is like the Republican Party in Empire USA, as they represent only the 25% most educated and wealthy. Problem is, the more wealth one has the more stupid greedy they become and the more unfit they are to hold public office.
The Muslim Brotherhood has a huge support base amongst the poor all over the Arab and Muslim world - including Egypt.
As Islam rises so does Christianity.
So surely you can see the War now. Alexsander the great quote: Heaven cannot brook two suns, nor earth two masters... Remember upon the conduct of each depends the fate of all.
Dislike away.
Sole purpose of government --- Protect society from those who rule business
The 25% most wealthy own 90% of everything, giving them 100% control of everything but the ballet box. So, why be so stupid as to allow them any control over government?

Based of the pattern of behavior of muslim brotherhood, they are using liar ,deception ,and using steps to achieve their goal. .therir goal is establish an islamic state. All their talk are liar. the first step they said that they are looking for of democracy,but they know that islam can not co exist with demcracy.After they seized the parliament,they plan proseute NGO and these organizations a re to promote democracy concept. They said that they will nominate a president ..Now they changed the story. . in near future ,Egypt will experiance a nightmare.
To supposedly 'break a promise' not to field a candidate in the elections for president means little in the current context of politics in Egypt. This is especially true when the courts are ignored, as in the case of the NGO's who were relleased by the SCAF in a grubby deal. The Muslim Brotherhood probably believ e that the current crop of candidates aren't up to the job and have decided to harness more control. But the thing is so fragile at present anything may be possible.   ;
