If the E.U. is clean they have nothing to worry about. Although it's strange that no Accountant will sign their books off, and never has. So I don't know why they're squealing, maybe the N.S.A. should release what they have on them so that the E.U. countries can see what they get up to with all those Euro's sloshing around. I don't think we have a clean government anwhere in the west.

The path from democracy to dictatorship: 1) invoke an internal/external threat (9/11, terrorism) 2) development a paramilitary force (Blackwater) 3) Secret prison system (Gitmo, rendition centres 4) Surveil ordinary citizens (prisim, tempora, etc) 5) Arbitrary detention and release 6) Harass citizens groups (occupy movement etc) 7) Intimidate the press (James Rosen, etc) 8) Target individuals for dissenting (Manning, Assange, Swonden, Kiriakou) 9) Recast dissent as treason (Manning, Swonden) 10) Criticism as espionage (T Drake, S Jin Woo KIm, J Hitselberger, S Liebowitz, J Kiriakou, B Manning, J Sterling, E Snowden.
