The EU has succumbed again to the US and sold out its citizens. But not to worry, there is no need to travel to the US from Europe directly. One can always travel via Mexico or Canada.I personally have stopped flying out of the EU, long distance, for quite some time. The main thing is the cost. It is much cheaper to fly out of Turkey, Egypt, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Moscow or Minsk than any of the European cities bar Milan and Athens. Besides, flying from the abovenamed places to Asia and the Pacific, one cuts about 4 hours of flying time from their trip, unless coming from the UK or Ireland.
