Ex beauty queen gets one Rouble for charity work

Former ‘Miss Universe’ Oksana Fedorova was paid a fee of just one Rouble after she became a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
She was given the token payment at a function celebrating the charity's10th anniversary in Russia.
Fedorova is a well-know children’s TV presenter in Russia, and has taken part in UNICEF programmes before.
She says getting involved is not just a way to help children but is also a “soulful experience”.
