It's about time Assad. Your not going to get anywhere at the UN as it's a eunochs playcentre.

Assad Never have been a puppet of US,Israel and NATo.. thats why IS ALL ABOUT ASSAD. nothing to do with democracy or freedom or human rights. Notice how "the great humanitarians" do not lift a finger and side with the government in the protest in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for more than a year and even supply weapons to their dictators so they can repress their real peaceful revolutions..  Its all about Assad. He is the problem to the west.. since they cannot control him and he support the palestianian State. Once Assad is moved.. if they succeed they can conquer lebanon since there will be no more support for them.. Is all about US and NATO take over of the middle east resources full controland about expanding Israel frontiers in the middle east.  and Assad and Iran leader are the only stones in the road.  Assad welcomes democracy and have introduced democratic reforms in their new constitution with presidential elections..Already the opposition to assad have won in politics seats in power.. But armed terrorist do not like people to support any democracy sponsored by the government since terrorist have no chance of earning any vote other that from criminals and people paid by the west. SO finally Someone terrorist supported seeing the truth of what happens.  US and NATO knows that if Assad step down without elections as the west want it.. it will be the end for Syria unity. since the Army will never stay united if someone else is in power. The unity of majority of the Syrians..and far majority of its army and government is the only thing that have killed the Saudis and US financed revolution. So to break that unity and unify the opposition.. that never will be united.. you know knowone support terrorist.. is the major goal of the west to take control of Syria.
