Another brilliant installment from the RT’s Russia’ Close-Up team and Oksano Boyko. Indeed, the Sayuz space rocketry and bone restructure technologies are testaments to Russia’s scientific ingenuity. However, a word of caution for Russian doctors who are doing limb restructuring- such as bone lengthening for people who are doing them for cosmetic reasons. There is an interesting Hollywood film called GATTACA in which only people with perfect genetic make up- with no defects- are allowed to go to space. But Ethane Hawke- despite being shorter in height then required- and despite being shorted sighted, is determined to go to space. In order to achieve his dream of becoming a astronaut , Ethane Hawke resorted to the black market for high-end genetic biopiracy. Among the things he had to under go was this very deliberate bone fracturing procedure! Also, in Japan, it is not only men who want to be tall. Japanese women- and also Chinese women- have increasing resorted to cosmetic surgeries of all kinds- including bone fracturing to increase their height and transform their physical appearance. All of these procedures are done in order to help Asian women approximate the European ideal look of Anna Kournikova and Claudia Schiffer: blue eyes, glowing white skin ( with the aide of expensive skin whitening creams), long legs, oval face( with facial restructure procedures), over endowed breasts( with breast implants).. Of course, these practices are always defended as purely personal choice—and there lies their capacity for profound insidiousness
