Boris Kagarlitskiy, director of Institute of Globalization and Social Movements recalled for RT how he was jailed in late 1980s for ‘studying Marxism the wrong way’.

“I've been to jail again in Yeltsin times and it was by far worse. Because that was during the Coup d'Etat in August 1993, and only for two days. They were threatening to kill us, they beat us. Actually the KGB guys of the 80s were very polite, they were not the police thugs of the Yelstin time,” Kagarlitskiy said.
