The UN considers female circumcision torture. Human rights activists worldwide see it as a major women’s rights violation and a broader debate is needed, says Thomas Von Der Osten-Sacken from human rights NGO – WADI.
It beggars belief to think this practice still go`s on. Makes you wonder what Century we are liveing in.?
This should not be a problem to solve. Anyone involved in mutulation of a female's genitals should be sentenced to have their own genitals totally removed. This should stop this practice in it's tracks. Those involved will have a change of heart once their own genitals are renoved as a consequence.

I think that nation, allowing this torture, should have sanctions levied against it,until the perpetrators of these crimes are brought to justice, the only reason, they do this in male dominated societies is because, the males are so insecure, they can have pleasure, but not the females,in any of their holy books where does it say, mutilate my creation?
