Back to Mars: Russian probe to visit red planet

September 22, 2011 14:48

Constructors of the Fobos-Grunt probe have revealed details of the space mission to Mars, which is to break a 20-year absence of Russian spacecraft near the red planet. The mission involves the retrieval of a soil sample from one of Mars’ satellites.

To add to what Vlada has said. I don't know about what happened to Phobos-Grunt, but I have spent a good deal of my civilian life near important U.S. Air Force bases armed with nuclear weapons. It has allowed me to see some things that seem impossible for the American or Russian military to possess. I believe that development of space exploration vehicles and nuclear weapons have been "with permission" so far. I have seen on two occasions what I believe to be the flying vehicles that reportedly shut down an ICBM squadron at Malmstrom Air Force Base for several days. On one occasion I was under mind control to ignore what I had seen and tell nobody, even though I was oblivious to any external control at the time. A person in Minnesota in 1967 got a good photo of what looks like what I saw in 1972 (I lived in northwest Minnesota near Grand Forks Air Force Base at the time) , but the photo seems to have been removed from the internet. While we have our sights on outer space, I have come to the conclusion that what is happening in other dimensions is the reason for what I saw, and what has caused our Air Force and that of the Russians some trouble on occasions. I am certain the Russian mission to Mars will be under close scrutiny by those who have watched us in the past, and I do not believe the American mission to the moon was only about the reasons publically stated by the government.   At least one out of four tax dollars collected by the U.S. Government can not be accounted for by the General Accounting Office. We can only speculate where the money goes and for what purposes.

The ex-Russian kosmonaut Marina Popovich revealed that Phobos 2 probe has been destroyed by a huge extraterrestrial mothership just beside Phobos the moon. Is the Phobos Grunt going to hunt the alien mothership, or the remains of Phobos 2?

The Russian Re-Entry into Space Exploration is long overdue, i believe they'll make Good, they have been Firsts in many Areas.
It's time for them to reclaim their Rightful Position, good luck to Them.

Great news!Just little correction: "Development of the probe started back in 2001 and cost almost $160 billion, said Viktor Khartov, General Director of the Lavochkin NPO, the company which built Fobos-Grunt.
“If you sum everything up, every Russian citizen paid almost 10 cents each year for 10 years. That is not much at all,”he assured."", the price is probably $160 million.
