Libya torn to pieces by rebels, Gaddafi and coalition – all for peace

March 22, 2011 05:57

Svyatlana:
Excell ent reply to Bogdanov. I think maybe he is making too many "poisonous clouds" in his own mind. Every government uses some form of propaganda to keep the people from asking too many questions. Surely, Bogdanov must know this...as it has certainly worked on him ;-)

The truth of any situation can be discovered IF we care enough about "Truth" itself to actually look for it. That is why a free Internet is so crucial. Whatever our Governments say or do, we all have basic human rights that must be valued and preserved. People everywhere must realize that when we come TOGETHER for those rights, our will and voices have greater power than the men who want to control us...whatever political ideology they try to use on us! The Egyptian people discovered that "secret" and it is critical for ALL of us to support this rightful human demand everywhere.

A way that anyone can support this right now--wherever we live--is to realize that simple kindness is a very strong force. Really practice it with people around you everyday, and it will spread outward like waves on an ocean. It is really not difficult when you really see we are all "one" people.

Yes? Just imagine. A "tsunami" of kindness...

Bogdanov, yes I would support a no fly zone and protecting lives by any necessary means. That is IF Belarus was some oil rich country at the disposal of  its leader-dictator ( and his nepotic circle) killing his people for the sake of status quo.  Particularly IF my friends and family were killed and threatened by the regime reprisals. What I wouldn't support though is "choosing and bestowing" someone else - the people deserve to have this choice and define  their own destiny.

PART TWO:

I want to say a little more about my country and a whole different level of awareness that is happening here: Obama tries to hold his own, but our Government has been compromised by too many concessions to the Military Industrial Complex, the FED, and big Banks. They now "own" us all in one way or another. But people in numbers still hold a lot more power than they realize. The Egyptian people discovered that and we must keep that alive for all our sakes!

We are losing more freedoms here in the US, and millions of us have watched the Banks/along with the FED, turn us into paupers. More and more people are starting to open their eyes. What will happen when we too stand up and say, "No More!!" I am not naive enough to think there are no men here who would do to us just what Gaddafi is doing. However, many people coming together for what is right are a powerful force. We must see beyond the illusory borders that sick men of power and greed have created to keep us separated and weak…whether by keeping us silent through oppression and hunger, or by making us fat and stupid with too much excess. Whether we live in the US, or Libya, or any other country, we must all stand up together for what is right and true!

Peace to all my brothers and sisters, everywhere…

Kathy. You say, "Gaddafi has made mistakes as all humans do." Are you insane? Check the real facts. You've been brainwashed by listening to all the crazy propaganda from FOX News and Glen Beck.
You blithely write of impeaching Obama, and how Americans are counting the days until he is out of the Whitehouse. [Speak for yourself.] You hope God will forgive us for electing him!? Pray all you want but God has no interest in your petty dramatics.

Ye s, the US is [partially] in Libya to help France and GB protect their oil interests. But know this: The American people DO care--very much--about the atrocities against the "rebels" in Libya, and what could happen to the people in other dissenting countries if Gaddafi is not stopped. There would be a wholesale slaughter of people in the many middle-eastern countries where people are wanting the right to elect their own leaders. If Gaddafi were to be successful now, other dictators will only be more emboldened to use violence to quell the unrest in their countries also. It would be a horrifying blood-bath!

Some of you really just don't have a clue do you go research libya abit over the last 40 years and not the fact it has oil and you will find out why they are there. Mass civilian killings for year after year after year and you think you have the right because of past failed attempt's by america to free countries to block the support of the libyan people? Kathy no offenese that is the most blonde thing i have possiblely ever heard anyone say... You obviously have seen very little of the news over the last 4 weeks alone and know nothing of libya. OR of the world leaders that are in power now and have been in the past look at the leader Saddam Husssein in Iraq at the time of the occupation he was invovled in killing 500 people a day in northern and southern area's of the country. Afganistan America went and back again rebel leaders because the group in power the taliban were using religion to slaughter and control the population of afganistan..... Seriously go read up on these things before you post cause you make yourselfs look foolish

Svyatlana,
You see being people confused? Really?
Answer then some simple questions: Would you like French airplanes dropping bombs and Americans shooting rockets on the "military installations" in Belarus, if Belarus had a dictator? Would you be also focused on comparable casualties created by Belarusian leaders or NATO crusaders? Would you ask the "international community" for such mission? Would you be also praising liberators coming from the sky? What I think, Svyatlana, -- you getting more and more confused living in the poisonous clouds of Western propaganda.

I am ashamed to say my president is obama. He needs to get out of libya. Gaddafi has made mistakes as all humans do. An he should not hurt his people. Every country in this universe has problems. Obama went to libya for some other reason than to help the people. I am sure it was for financial gain. As he spends all of the hard working american peoples money on parties in the whitehouse. He has starving children and violence in his country he can't control. The way he went to war is against every principal this country stands for. He thinks he is god. He is not. We the american people spoke. We did not want to go to war in libya. Let gaddafi run his country. As it seems they have come along way in forty years an the usa did not help them. Now we have killed alot of innocent people an torn another country up. They are now under civil unrest. Now there country has no rest. Obama should be impeached for this. And the usa needs to stay out of the middle east.  We have done enough damage. And lost to many american's to count. For what. Nothing but political gain. Americans are counting the days till obama leaves the whitehouse. I pray god will watch over our country an forgive us for putting obama in there.
