'Friends of WikiLeaks' fight for Assange’s rights in European Court
June 19, 2012 16:17
The international group, whose goal is to promote WikiLeaks and “defends its mission,” has sent an open letter to the Human Rights Court, asking for it to stop the “unlawful detention” of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
@ Eurasian, that is for sure. Human rights are simply a hoax to keep the mass beleave they are safe and respected. But in practise, those institutes are so corrupted that the human rights simply dont mean anything at all, just a waste of paper. If you live in the EU, then you know what I mean. - Tortures by EU police = not investigated, murders by law inforcement = not investigated, secret prissons from foreingh countries = not investigated, mass of violations from privacy = who cares? arrests inside the EU by foreingh countries = who cares? No matter what laws and treaties says, the corruption rules threu whole of europe!!!! There is no justice, and there are no human rights, it is all a illusion to keep your mouth closed.
When your courts do not provide justice or bow to political interference it is time for all people to voice their objection. We are thee 99% We are the power in our lands we become LEGION.
Nice comments Lilian.

I flip through all the news channels everyday and then I go to RT to see what is really going on!
Hey Lilian. Flipping through the MSM channels is a waste of time and bad for your brain.
The powerful elite show their guilt by the manner in which they are handling Julian Assange by manipulating the legal system. It is so sad to see the attempts to cover up the truth and the persecution of someone who is working in the interests of humanity. There is a shift in the world and the people have taken their power back, truth and light will prevail. We all need to support him and the many other journalists who ha ve the courage to tell the truth.
As I foresaw it will end up there. Let´s see how the President of the court in Strasbourg will respond now. I believe the respond will be; we cannot handle a case which has not exhausted all domestic remedies. By which will throw the ball back to Sweden and drag it on for years playing with judicious technicalities. Online petition on the net in support of Assange can be of great help.
