Astronomers discover ‘accidental’ giant planet ‘that should not be’

07.12.2013 17:48

A giant planet that has been found orbiting its star at 650 times the average Earth-Sun distance has stirred immense confusion in the minds of US astronomers, making them question planet formation theories.

We humans cant fully comprehend so we assume the best possibilities. This is beyond phenomenal but it doesn't reach people in the news... Why?

.-. That looks exactly like Gallifrey and right after it was supposed to have reappeared into the universe, they need to rename it Gallifrey. Gallifrey falls no more.

Yes or no, does it fall within Newtonian law of gravitation? ie, (gravitational constant)x(mass of object 1)x(mass of object 2)/all divided by the distance of the objects squared? and HOW is the process of planet formation too slow for this one? Theories in this article are too watered down to even discuss. So yeah, may as well be science fiction.

It should not be there ? did this come from the same people who did not have a clue about the Russian one ?
keep taking the research grants people !

The could very easily invent a 'Dark Planet' theory and bypass the problem, much like the 'dark matter/energy' stupidities

Nibiru / Planet X a brown dwarf star with seven planets moons and thousands of larger rocks is still near the sun and according to some reports will be visible to all on Earth around mid January 2014 if not sooner. Some say comet ISON is Nibiru. More on YouTube.

Its the planet that uses Earth as an intergalatic soap ,they come here to film the antics and sell them the other planets as a lesson in how not to treat a planet and or the people living in it !

I don't see why there would be huge confusion. We can expect anomallies; we can expect the theories we hold today to not be highly significant in our very isolated visual of our Universe.

S ome articles seem to be excessive in their exageration of the 'feelings' of our scientific community. We do not expect these theories, so new, to conform to every situation.

So let's forget the 'shock and surprise' in the article and accept the fact that these 'unexplained' situations will be expected and will help to improve our theories and vision of our Universe.

by my rough calculation:

the object traveling toward to our solar system, then it will be here within: 650 / 1/4 of a earth year. So it will take a 216 months or 18 years.
Amazingly enough for depression.

If I am wrong please correct me I wasn't very good at a school, sorry.

I doubt that there is any discrete distinction between to gas clouds independently collapsing to form stars and a single major collapse event with a collapsing large eddy. In both you have two significant foci for accretion, and either scenario can probably dovetail into the other one.
