The fact of the matter is immigration has risen dramatically in Greece & illegal immigration has reached a higher level than anywhere else in Europe (based on the ratio of population). Athens is a city of 4 million yet there's an estimated 1.5 million illegal immigrants there! This has coincided with an astronomic rise in crime (up until a few years ago Greece had the lowest crime rate in Europe despite being one of the poorest countries). There has also been a major rise in "new diseases" (TB, AIDS, etc). Of course these existed in the past too but there has been astromonic rise coinciding with this immigration-flow.  Moving away from immigration one can consider the issues Greece has with it's neighbours. FYROM's historical plagiarism strikes at the heart of Greek history, while Turkey has been allowed to literally get away with murder & war crimes in Cyprus. The world has turned a blind eye though. Germany also owes Greece billions in reperations following WWII, yet pushes for austerity in Greece. These are injustices! All this adds up to a nation that is desperate but the world doesn't seem to care. It's easy for ultra-liberals to say "you're racist!" when the average moderate Greek on the street speaks about these things, so they are made voiceless as a result. "Voicelessness" in the face of suffering &injustice leads to people being tricked into moving towards extremes. These issues MUST be taken seriously &resolved now, not simply brushed away as racist because ignoring the problem can prove to be dangerous (as was the case in the 1930s in Germany)

In the Netherlands as European I've experienced what a criminal catastrophe it is this immigration from totally analphabet and uncivilized country from North Africa &co.
As high educated European I was treated as the last with dog on the street by authorities comparing with the perfect treatments that all scumbags from uncivilized countryies received and were accepted and promoted. at once with all benefits without work.

Somebody without mother and father of a kind as European , without any roots in our civilization will be for sure the one who will fight us in service of money changers , just  for few dollars/euro's ,without any mercy. Both the radical left Syriza party and the Communist Party of Greece each got more of the vote than the racists got, and together they got more than 25% of the vote. They are the true opposition and are a much stronger force than the racists ever will be. Pasok has revealed itself as a fraud against the people and suffered heavily because of it. In recent elections from Ireland to Greece, the Communists and other far left parties are gaining strength and the fraudulent social-democrats and other Euro-socialist type parties are going down. You can mark my words; it won`t be long before the French are screaming for Hollande`s hide.

@John Hansson, et al. It's worth considering whether what is destroying culture in Europe lies on immigrants or Europeans who are all to eager to adopt Americanization and American "culture." I am against illegal immigration and I believe massive immigration that adds little value to societies should be condemned, and that the language, art and culture of individuals should be perserved and admired. Nothing works against this more than forces like Hollywood and American consumerist mentalities exported abroad and the proliferation of disconnected, urban obssessed capitalist nightmares designed to remove us all from our heritage and connection with the natural world and natural history of our lands and people.

Some very Naive people have assumed that the Golden dawn is a Nazi party because of the Golden emblem which is similar to the Nazi swastika, but nothing could be further from the Truth, the Golden symbol of the Golden dawn is in fact an Ancient Hellenist symbol and has nothing to do with Nazism or Neo-nazism.
