Google is being attacked by the evils who would love to do evil to you.  They are pretending that Google's policy invades privacy when the fact of the matter is that they, the EU in particular, want to force Google to give them your information.
Anyb ody who reads the privacy policy understands it is benign.
Google has been the last path to truth on the internet (NOT CENSORED) and those who are evil seek to destroy it.

Changes like this MUST be opt-in.

Let's face it everybody uses google. Google has just created the greatest spynetwork ever created that tops Facebook by far. The ability to collect every search ever make on the internet. It may also connect your IP adress to your account so when not signed in they still log it to your google account. Only option is using proxies and vpns, or just opt-out or pause web history.. but who knows what they'll do anyway behind closed doors. Scary part is that they have always had this ability, never just thooout it before.

I will try to boycott Google until it is opt-in, it'll be hard though since most other search engines are worthless returning useless search results.

On removing google personal info. 01.03.2012 15:33

Just so you know, if you have a gmail account you can remove the information they have on you by going to the gear on the side and go to "settings." Then scroll down to the "Importance signals for ads:" menu and click on the "here" link. There is the option to "opt out," click on that. Now go to the bar on the side and click on "Ads on the web." There you will find a category called "your categories and demographics." Click on the link called "add or remove" and remove all them. There you go, no more info will be gathered since you opted out and they no longer have any information on your interests!

Of course very few have read the policy change. Look, the public is so willing to give out info just by registering online for sites, filling out apps, paying bills, accessing everything to anything. If those in the want to know, want to know our information.... it doesn't take much. Do you really think this changes anything. If your willing to use the internet and put your personal info on there and look up websites that may or may not be personal... than you should be willing to let them see your info cause thats exactly what they see. If anyone, be it website, FBI, or etc want your information they are gonna get it whether or not you agree and whether or not  you read the policy change. Its a fact and law. You cant complain if you give it away so easily. Cant complain if you give them your power.
1/ what happens if you have read the policy and you dont agree with it as France and the EU did? 2/ what happens if you already do what you said above, dont give out your details?   Ignore the facts they might go away lol.

Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin is dead worried,if face book gets into China then goggle is finished,it is a bad turnout for someone whose motto is- "Don't be evil".
Is this why Google have not "pulled" the very clear false flag WTC7 demolition "pull" Silverstein video from YouTube? They have had a lot of pressure from Lieberman and AIPAC to ban it on copyright grounds,SOPA PIPA etc.

I wouldn't bother too much about google, microsoft and whatever their relationship with the US or the EU is. There is a huge variety of choices around, and there are systems like Linux that are fully available for free with no BS at all about "unique customer experience" and similar Public Relations BS talk.

We all want the world to be like Star Trek. sorry it will never happen while the greed is all around us. Even on this site you see the greed of the little people wanting their share of power, they want to be famous for tricking people into believing their right about everything they comment on. and the sheep will follow the glory!
