Greece must ‘obey or get off euro train’ - EU

May 12, 2012 11:58

Top EU officials have decreed Greece should leave the eurozone if unable to stick to the austerity measures imposed by European creditors. The political crisis in Athens is making this scenario not altogether impossible.

THE EUROZONE IS FASCISM (unregistered) 18.05.2012 22:01

Greece must NOT obey and MUST leave the Eurozone in order to be FREE. The Eurozone is a fascist totalitarian entity run by Germany for Germany's chief benefit. It is based on a class of rich nations (core) enslaving the poorer nations (periphery). Anyone can see that this is merely a super-structuralisat ion of financial capitalist exploitation. Let the revolution spread!

If Greece leaves the Eurozone it will be very difficult to exist as a Nation.It will have a worthless currency and will be unable to import anything , it will only be able to barter to obtain essentials . Capital will fly from Greece and all foreign assets will migrate immediately.Internal trade will only occur in Euros , dollars or Swiss france for those luckier enough to have them. Government as we know in Europe will collapse in Greece .The Greeks have very little choice the return to the drachma is a fantasy and if they did it would not be worth the paper it was printed on  . Those who preach this are generally spiv entrepreneurs who want to buy up Greek assets virtually for nothing. Just as what happened in the great German inflation of 1923, you could then buy a house for a few dollars.

Leaving Eurozone is the only rational way to begin addressing Greece's problem. With drakhma they will be able to manipulate their own currency in their own economy interests.And that has nothing to do with the EU, it's just signing out of the currency union. Greece will still be a EU member like the UK or Poland.

In Greece, the birth place of democracy, the common and everyday people are speaking very loudly and clearly.  They are taking a bold stand against those who control their nation:  the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, and of course the International Monetary Fund.  Workers in every corner of the earth support the Greeks in their struggle against government corruption, big corporate greed, and austerity.

WTF? (unregistered) 13.05.2012 00:55

What's this???:::
A Black Russian and a Chicago Bimbo talking about confidence?

W hat does "confidence" have to do with Greece, and WTF do I care about what YOU think, Ms. Chicago Bimbo?

This has got to be the most bizarre report I've ever seen on RT??? !!!

Can we perhaps talk to someone in Greece or Germany about Greece, instead of a Chicago Bimbo who can only talk about the "confidence" games she plays dating at the bar?  Please???

I'm actually being serious here.

Hahaha, this is dumb. There is one way out. Greece fully arm itself to the teeth and refuse to pay back anything. Problem solved. Sure, EU will give Greece a huge isolation after that, but hey, guess what? They don't have to deal with EU or anything related to world bank.
