Interview with Evgeny Khrushchev

The U.S. has been critical of China's growing military expenditure. But its own defence budget for 2009, if approved, is said to surpass the WW2 budget when inflation adjusted. Military analyst Evgeny Khrushchev commented on the issue.
“What is really being ignored by the world community is that the U.S. up to 2017 will probably spend more than $US 2 trillion on just the war in Iraq – forget about Afghanistan and other future conflicts,” Khrushchev said.
