In hot water: Iran slams Google for keeping Persian Gulf off the map
May 06, 2012 18:01
Iran has criticized Google for leaving the body of water separating it from the Arabian Peninsula nameless on its online map service, saying it could hurt the Internet giant's credibility.
Get a clue Sergey. This has to do w/the identity of a civilization several thousands of years old, and all its millions of inhabitants. Why don't we just call you Gary and say you came from Thailand if its enough for you that the people who know you, know exactly who you are. Should you decry it, well you'll just be making a big deal out of nothing You for one are part of the uneducated not to mention unenglighte d, because the dirty arab oil $$ is exactly why Google DOES care, and enough to deny the identity of a region.
these American are stupid, they dont know geography ,they are mad and that is why they dont know where the Persian Gulf is.we have tell them Persian Gulf from top Iran and down is some small countries.

As of today, the Persian Gulf will be known as the Google Gulf !! Or the Gulf of Israel. Gulf of camel jockeys, Gulf of Homer Simpson. The Persian Gulf, surely not?
Understandable... I would hazard a guess that some people across the atlantic are making it look more and more like the American Gulf, what with all the soldiers and battleships they're keep putting out there.
