Denim diplomacy: Netanyahu incites Iranian ire with jeans gaffe

07.10.2013 11:23

Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu may have sought to induce Iranians in a ‘historic’ interview with the BBC’s Persian service, but a casual claim that people in the Islamic Republic are banned from wearing jeans was one fashion faux pas many could not bear.

No jeans for old men.

This man should be on stage.

A sort of Rolf Harris meets Mel Brooks, but without the charm ?

Thing is that any country not following the order of Israel and the zionist agenda is an enemy. Any country that shows real independence and going its own way is an enemy to the zionist world rulers and therefore must be destroyed. The world would be a much happier and peaceful place if the "chosen people" kept their hands out of other nations business.

This guy truely is a pig. He reminds me of Cheany. Both of these maniac blood money for oil degenerates should be casterated then set on a low flame.

El Comandante Abu 08.10.2013 20:11

US shoud ship all the Israelis and settle them in either Idaho or Montana and make this world a peaceful place.

There is at least one erroneous statement in this article. No way that 12 million Iranian tune in to Persian BBC per week, this is an enormous exaggeration, not even 2000 people will listen to Persian BBC.

There are some who switch back and forth to different radio stations during the day and BBC Persian is one of the over 2 dozen foreign stations that people check into.
Majority of Iranians now that BBC and voice of America and their likes are financed by the Zionists and are full of anti Iranian propaganda.

When will this Nutcaseyahu come out of closet? Just about everybody in the west knows her already.

Co uld it be this Nutcase lost her pants to fire, due to all the lies she throws out *(he/she has diarrhea of the mouth).
Is this nutcase the Zionist version of the pu$$y riot?

Jamal Locke 08.10.2013 18:51

Yeah? If "Israelis" actually had legitimacy, they'd be living in Europe or Russia instead of Palestine.

StepStone 08.10.2013 18:24

Netanyahu is fighting a war that he cannot win. He better to change his way of thinking, if he thinks they are chosen one then help the Palestine, give them peace.

George Rizk 08.10.2013 14:19

Both Israel, and Iran are religiously obsessed nations, Israel exaggerates the dress style a little by saying that the Iranians are not allowed to wear blue jeans. However, women are more oppressed than they were during the Shah. The religious police is a reality in these crazy Muslim nations.

The question nobody has asked is "why is the BBC broadcasting a speech by Bibi on its Persian Service?"

Do the British licence fee payers know their money is being used by Israel to broadcast propaganda messages to Iran?

Yes, very true sir! And i think you will find the British public may be quite bewildered that BBC Radio Iran service which costs £15 million a year to run is funded by the UK government. Teachers are laid-off, health services are cut, family men commit suicide due to the inability to support their offspring!…Madness !!
