Iran faces arm-twisting demands ahead of key nuclear talks
April 08, 2012 12:04
The six-party party talks on Iran’s nuclear program, called “the last chance” by the West, may now be in jeopardy. The new requirements by the US and Israel towards Iran’s nuclear program have been rejected by the country as “irrational.”

The West is bluffing, Iran! They will not risk immediate global economic collapse to dare and attack. North Korea's strategy has always been successful. Learn from the courageous and brave masters! No one respects cowardice, Iran.
The greatest existential threat to Israel are the Zionists.....they are making enemies of the entire globe; eventually the rest of the world will get fed up of them using the holocaust as cover for their disgusting behaviour.
Yep... Iran should "disclose the entire history of its nuclear activity and open all its
nuclear facilities to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)." And Israel should be made to do the same!!! How about it Mr Barak? You go first to show you're serious and open about the issue.
It's Israel's nukes that are causing the nuclear arms race in the region. Thanks so much USA!! Your hypocrisy and pandering to the "Jewish vote" over this issue has created this situation. No doubt we'll have another "Colin Powell(ite)" at the UN telling more lies about Weapons of Mass Destruction etc to justify any attack.

No doubt they want to maintain their supremacy in the Middle East however there are some valid concerns. Iran is an unstable nation (so is Israel arguably)
Who has Iran attacked in the past hundred years ? What makes you say Iran is unstable ? Too much CNNNBDABCMSNBC or what ? Please clarify the unstable Iran and how it is threatening the West or Israel.

"""Iran is a threat to middle east stability and democracy given the reactionism of its religious rulers. As an unstable theocray, """ man theocracy is of west in it's Medieval in europe. it has nothing to do with iran. iran had always kingdom for over 3000 years before the revolution. in existing system even the religous leader get elected indirectly by people and a council that is again elected by people supervising the leader. more over iran has elections for presidency and parliament and all the duties specified in the constitution. by the way a country that has 20year-interval growing program doesnt feel any instability!
If the US really wanted to go to war with Iran you would see a lot more than sanctions on the country. The only real entity that would be under threat if a nuclear weapon was developed would be Israel. No doubt they want to maintain their supremacy in the Middle East however there are some valid concerns. Iran is an unstable nation (so is Israel arguably) so their possession of nuclear weaponry would cause some discomfort in the ME. It would only take one missile from either side to drop the first domino in an all out offensive between the two. Wile I question the rights of Israel to tell Iran what to do while they possess weapons, it is probably best that only they have them at this point. As long as Israel is the only nuclear capability, if they were to fire on Iran without consent they would lose a lot of support as other countries have little offensive power they can direct back at Israel. As long as Israel has supremacy over its surrounding enemies, there is a weird balance that will keep war at bay. It is not fair but it is true.
I almost forget another interesting feature that RT states in one of the last lines of the article: "...According to official data Iran has barely more than 100 kilograms of 20 per cent purity uranium fuel stockpiled, which would not be enough even for a single nuclear weapon..."
They forget (intentionally or not) to ma ke clear that even tons of Uranium enriched to the 20% would not be enough to make a nuclear weapon because you need Uranium enriched to over 90% to get it...
In other words, the problem is not the ammount of Uranium but the degree of enrichment of the element, and some people intentionally hides that point... It's like saying that Iran has enough hydrogen in it's atmosphere to build an H-bomb...
