Published: 22 April, 2007, 13:48

Tehran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad Ali Hosseini says the phrase “suspension of uranium enrichment” should be removed from the vocabulary surrounding Iran's nuclear activities.

He also said the country's nuclear programme is at an advanced stage and cannot be reversed.

He added that Tehran has noticed a change in tone from the United States, but said further changes in Washington's attitude are needed.
