Israel bars activist as ‘terrorist’ for refusal to open e-mail

June 05, 2012 06:23

An American peace activist entering Israel has been ordered by airport security officers to open her e-mail account. When she refused, they alleged she is a terrorist and sent her back to the US the next day. Her experience is not unique.

What you fail to realise is that Israel is an illegal occupation in violation of some 250UN resolutions.

The Palestinian Airport was bombed by Israel hindering the movement  Palestinian goods and the movement of Palestine visitors.

Isr ael has no legitimate grounds to lay siege to Palestinian land nor to hinder the movements of the Palestinians who must suffer daily Israel racist and aparatheid policies.  Israel is allowed to continue its entrenched illegal occupation and is disgusting behavior only because of the ONE US veto.

I personally would not encourage, advise , or sympathise with anybody who visits that Gomora of a country, for whatever reason.  Let's admit it, Israel was a big mistake! And the whole world is being made to pay for, but is not trying hard enough to correct, that mistake: it's not just the Palestinians who bear the brunt of the injustices flowing from the creation of Israel, now even Americans, the defenders of that Sodom have become the victims.  Why was Israel not carved out of Germany which was responsible for the so-called holocaust?

I was shocked several years ago when I went to Petra. We were returning through the Aqaba crossing & the Israeli guards questioned 2 people right behind me. It basically went like this "What is your purpose in Israel?" Tourism, they said. "You 2 didn't enter Israel together 10 days ago. Are you touring separately?" Yes, they replied. They just happened to meet up in Israel. "Yet you were both members of the same activist group when you visited Israel 4 years ago & entered the country together then." The look on their faces was priceless! They were nailed and they knew it. The 2 were pulled out of the line, separated from their bags & led away. I thought it was really cool that the security forces put all that together. They profiled me when I entered the country via Ben Gurion & I didn't mind a bit. All you complaining about the profiling being "fascist" should consider that you don't have bombs going off in your civilian pizza shops & buses.

She was not yet admitted to the country, she was positioned in the transit area and she is not an Israeli citizen. Thus there is no legal requirement for search warrants. She has no automatic right to enter the country, after all, neither have Israelis an automatic right to an unconditional entry visa to the US. Instead of supporting measures that keep Israel successfully secure and travel safe, she prefers to engage in Israel hate activities. If she wants to visit Ramallah so badly, she should take the flea bite camel route via Jordan.

So why doesn't Egypt open its border with Palestine? At least people could enter Gaza!?

Zionism is a "doctrine" not a rogue political sect that Jewish fake anit-Zionist activists have fooled many gentile intellectuals to believe.

//Its unfair to vote against a religious community.//First of all Judaism is not a religion since it is not proffered to humanity but a small "chosenites". You cannot convert to Judaism. Some 16-18 million "Jews" are converts, who are considered by one million "Judeans" as "heretics" (since they played god to "choose" themselves to be Judaics) and largely stay away from them. Most people who use the word and concept of "Jew" have never seen or talked to an authentic Judean.

I know you have good intentions for your comment, but teaching requires learning first.

Since Israel has decided to treat American Christians in this manner, it’s time to cut off aid to Israel and to boycott all Israeli products. Do not purchase Israel products.  Call the White House and tell Obama, “No more American aid to Israel!”   BOYCOTT ISRAEL!

Is it possible that Israel has not understood that the writing is on the wall ? That the change to two nations is nigh ? Or Israel thinks that they have any relevance in the world scene ? Little pawns , little pawns !

Google is an Israeli company. If you are using Chrome/Chromium or Google search on your browser and you are an "initiated" individual, most likely Mossad already has a copy of your "favorites" and of course marked your Gmail communications.

Asking such ridiculous questions from particular individuals in the airport cannot be but an excuse to deny entry: if you refuse or comply (which they already know they can find something for an excuse), either way they get what they want.

The term is "Zionist", not jew. Its unfair to vote against a religious community. Because if you use the word jew, you are targeting all the jews irrespective of those who oppose zionism. Its like blaming the entire muslim community for bunch of thug terrorists in middle east. To me terrorism has no religion. Terrorism is a symptom of brainwash, greed, poverty and extremism.

The Israeli govt should watch the Australian customs authorities on Discovery Channel and see how they deal with problematic visitors.

The Arab American "Quaker acivist" is a rather strange combination is she really a Quaker? The ADL I believe a few years ago placed the Quakers as one of the "religious" groups it suspects of Anti Semitic activities and not just anti Israel activites. Time the country stopped allowing these inciters into the country with no consequences. other countries do it. What's good for the goose is OK for Israel too.
